Love the Star Wars universe. This movie is unlike any of the other Star Wars movies that proceeded it. And that's a good thing. The tone of the movie feels more somber, but still has enough of that "soaring epic" feel to it, to make it fit right in with the rest of the Star Wars family. Why are you reading this? Buy it today!

I saw this movie in 2D and 3D when it was in the theater so naturally seeing that the 3D version was visually pleasing I knew I was going to pick up the 3D blu-ray. If you're a Star Wars fan and enjoy immersing yourself in this universe get this version if you can find a copy. I know when I got it it was sold out everywhere.

Your concern is hardly warranted if your on the fence about buying this great movie. The power that we are dealing with here....is immeasurable in the production quality. To sum up this move one would say "Oh, it's beautiful..." just don't choke on your aspirations in the hopes of being released on VHS/Beta any time soon....

Not sure what it was, yes there were battle scenes in both but there was just something about Rogue One that made it seem more significant. There was a level of realism that was too glossy in TFA. Both were excellent entries into the Star Wars mythology, but I think that R1 is going to stand the test of time slightly better.

The steelbook design for this collector's edition is excellent. I also appreciate that this includes all of the versions of the movie you could want. I wish there were some deleted scenes, but the extras that are included are very well made. The movie itself is a fun adventure that fits very well into the Star Wars universe.

So, I'm a sucker for Steelbooks...and apparently so is everyone else. Got mine on release day but most of them were gone. Rather wish Best Buy would carry more in store, especially Marvel ones (which are always gone on release day...which apparently immediately go to eBay for at least $20 more). Oh yeah...great movie too.

This is another great star wars movie. I bought the package with Blu Ray, Blu Ray 3D, DVD and digital. The price and steel case is great. The 3D is awesome as was the Force Awakens. The Blu Ray is perfect. To me this movie is actually the 4th star wars movie because it connects number 3 (Sith) with number 5 (new Hope).

Rogue One is a thoroughly enjoyable movie as a standalone Star Wars saga but more importantly, as a bridge between Revenge of the Sith (III) and A New Hope (IV). Felicity Jones is terrific as is the rest of the cast. The 3D version is a bit dark but well done. The Steel Book packaging is excellent and a nice collectors item.

This movie made me pay close attention to the characters and how it was going to lead up to the Original Star Wars. The battles were great and I liked the outdoor fighting scenes and how they made it more lifelike. It was a little darker, but in a way the piques your curiosity. Great Movie. I can't wait for "The Last Jedi".

As a Star Wars fan, I eagerly await the releases of the movies onto DVD. I enjoy being able to see them both in the theater and at home, and being able to see them at home allows me to enjoy a quieter experience so that I can concentrate on the movies more. You never know what you might miss when you see it the first time.

Despite rushed editing in the first half hour, this might be the best SW movie yet! It's essentially a heist and war film and for the first time it shows Darth Vader at his most powerful for the first time taking out Rebels en masse. It also directly links up with Episode 4! A must watch if you didn't see it in the theaters!

If you are a fan of Stars Wars, you will like this movie. It is a precursor of the original trilogy and fills in the gaps of the Star Wars story. The special effects are spectacular, and the acting kept my interest captive as the story unfolded. I recommend it to viewers who enjoy action movies and to fans of Star Wars.

Rogue One is the movie we didn't asked for - but what we got was beyond any expectation. Excellent pacing of the movie. As the movie progresses it gets better and better. Culminates in one of the best finales seen in any of the Star Wars movies.

As far as the order of Star Wars movies goes, yes it's a stand alone, but it would fit nicely between the 3rd Revenge of the Sith movie and "4th" A new hope. It really didn't need the lead in to the 4th and we as kids didn't wonder ???? I wonder where they got these plans from and how Princess Leia got them? We just said, OK, yeah. I am however wondering how after this one the Stormtroopers got to be such bad shots as they seemed to actually shoot and hit people in this one. Maybe they'll need another movie explaining how their gun training went so bad. It'll be left a mystery I guess.

This goes right along with the Star Wars Saga. It does have some movie flaws with the timeline. For instance, the one I noticed the most was that the Death Star was operational when if you will remember in Chapter 4 it was not operational. Its first test was on Leia's home planet of Alderan. Overall, it was a great movie.

This is a great movie and a lot of fun to watch. Additionally, the SteelBook packaging is excellent and looks great. I'm also glad that it was released in 3D, as Disney seems to be releasing fewer of their movies on 3D Blu-ray. Just to note, this release includes a 3D Blu-ray, a regular Blu-ray, a DVD, and a digital copy.

When you watch Chapter 4 - A New Hope, you see this 'Death Star' thing and wonder where it came from. Just like Chapters 1, 2 & 3, when you learn about how Luke, Leia and Darth Vader came to be, you get a heads up BEFORE watching Chapter 4 and get a feel for what the 'Death Star' is all about. Great watching - ENJOY!!

With 4k technology, 3D is simply not getting the attention and love it deserves. Not only is this a great exclusive packaging, but it also includes a 3D copy of the disc which isn't available at most other retailers. As someone who thoroughly enjoys 3D technology on my LG UHD TV, this is a must-add for any Star Wars fan.

Ok, I grew up on Star Wars and I have to say that this is now at the top of my list of favorite Star Wars movies! Really got back to basics with this one and kept the feel of the original trilogy. The way this film ends perfectly at the beginning of Episode IV is just great. You will love it if you are a Star Wars fan!

This movie amazingly fits right in with the original trilogy as a piece that is not necessary, but definitely adds to the original trilogy. Great measures were taken to make it feel as if it is in the same universe as the original trilogy which was what the prequel trilogy was lacking. A must watch for any Star Wars fan.
