This device was easy to install and is easy to navigate. You can use the Roku 2 using either hard-wired Ethernet or Wifi. Recommended way to cut the cable cord!

Roku does exactly what it promises, with a user interface and search features that surpass the competition. Roku has made it possible for my family to get rid of cable, and still receive almost all the content we previously watched for $16 a month via Hulu and Netflix.

I bought this Roku 2 over a year ago and although there have been new models, I see no reason to replace it. It works very fast, is reliable, and works perfectly with my Harmony remote. I do have to reboot it from time to time, but no more than other devices connected to my home network. When I get a 4K TV for my home theater system, I will probably get the latest Roku and relegate this one to the bedroom. I have tried most of the media streamers at one time or another and like most reviewers, recomment Roku devices.

Product is working very well and is easy to operate. As someone with limited technical expertise, I was pleased to to acquire such a user friendly product.

Super easy to install and operate, even for someone who really doesn't much care for technology gadgets. It's great! Who needs regular TV when you have Roku!

I know its not the most important thing but the Roku 2 2nd gen is a good looking piece of tech for your den or bedroom or whatever you plan to use it. They don´t feature it as portable but Ive traveled with it, its small and light enough to take it with me on my back pack, install was a breeze. Roku is fast and easy to navegate, I´ve never had a problem streaming in HD and my internet speed is only 10mb. Channel content is huge, although not the best quality (im talking about the free ones). I like that I can stream from my phone, tab and lap. the remote works ok, easy to use, although is point and click and if theres anything between the roku and you remote you are going to have trouble using it, the good thing is that you can download a free roku app for your phone and it works with wifi so you can be anywhere in your house and still operate the Roku. overall my wife and I are very happy with our purchase, we don´t need the voice comands or the ear plug jack of the roku 3 havent tought about that once sins I bought it 3 or 4 months ago, Im glad I saved my money and invested it in a PS4 game instead. do the smart thing and go with Roku 2 2nd gen

Easy to set up and navigate. Worked as it was supposed to.

So many options for movies, video, and live tv. Loved cutting the cord from cab/sat companies. Have two of these boxes and would recommend giving this a try.

I purchased one Roku for myself and really enjoyed it so I bought another one for my parents. They don't have any other way to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. and they love it so far! Only downside, which isn't entirely Roku's fault, is that if your internet connection is sub-par then some apps won't work (only happened with netflix for me)
