I use many different streaming devices in my household: X-box Wii Play station Apple TV Amazon Fire Stick For the money, the Roku 2 provides speed, reliability and convenience that everyone in the house can use (ages 8 to 53).

Picked up this Roku to get internet video on one of the non-Smart TVs in my house. Significantly faster than our Smart TVs and offers a huge number of video services. Was surprised at how small it is. Very happy.

I mainly use the Roku 2 to stream Sling TV. Works great and was really easy to set up and use. Highly recommend for streaming.

This is my first media player and it seems to do just fine. I hit a button, it responds. Roku has a bunch of free channels too. The free movie channels are ok if you can stand 10 minutes of movie and 5 minutes of the same commercials every 10 minutes. That part is sad but it's not the media players fault. Seems to work great on both wired and wireless connections. I have 2 players. 1 wired and the other wireless. Really easy to setup. Works awesome with Netflix and Sling TV. Will do a free trial of Amazon vid and Hulu here soon but I expect those apps will perform great also.

I chose the Roku 2 over the stick, 3 or 4 primarily because the 2 can be used with an infrared remote. The 3, 4, and stick all have RF-only remote capability, and I use a Harmony One universal remote to control my gear, and that is IR-only. I primarily use the Roku to stream content from my Plex server, but also it works great to stream many channels on-demand in conjunction with my U-Verse TV service. Also have Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime subscriptions, plus there are tons of free streaming choices available through Roku. You could probably find over 10,000 different things to watch at any give time. The Roku itself was easy to set up and configure.

Very easy to set up and get going with this item. Only been using it a week, but no problems figuring anything out with it. Glad to be done with the big satellite dish payment!

Last year I purchased Roku, and it was great. I purchased the Roku 2 for another room, and this is even better. Easy setup. Abundance of channels for streaming. Now I'm ready to cut the cable cord. Love it!!

Good streamer. Roku was the only streamer that had all the apps I wanted-hbo, showtime, amazon, netflix, vudu. The search function could be better, and it could add bluetooth capabilities to make it perfect (hate typing with a directional key). Simple set up, works great!

This is a very fast streaming device with a large number of available services. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. If you are a fan of British programming, Acorn TV is a wonderful service.

I tried a few other streaming players on the market, not to mention the smart tv's built in apps, the Roku rocks!! love it! lots of flexibility, its fast, very nice interface and zoo simple to use!..

Went to a Roku setup with an HD antennae for television service. Best thing - no monthly subscriptions for unused channels or programming. Easy to setup and use.

Cable bills have gotten so outrageous. But with ROKU I get nearly every show I'm used to watching. I paid $40 for the connection box. I wanted access to NCIS, so I pay a mere $5.99 a month to get "CBS All Access." That's it. No other monthly fee unless you desire something extra. There is only one drawback. I can get news and sports clips, but not any ESPN show. I expected games to be extra. But was hoping to watch full sports updates since it promoted ESPN.

I purchased the roku 2 a few weeks ago and so far I love it! The speed is very fast and I like that the picture quality is also very good. It's been exactly what I needed for streaming needs!

I needed something for upstairs that could play Netflix and other things. Bought it for Valentine's day and she uses it all the time. Works as expected and takes up next to no space at all.

I like the ease of setup and simple to use format. A great bit of apps available and variety of choices. I think a few more prompts would make it easier to operate when you do hit a spot you're not sure about. Overall I would definitely recommend this device.

I had trouble finding a streaming device that would connect to my WiFi. Roku was by far the easiest and quickest to install and has provided fast streaming the entire time I have used it.

Very easy to set up. It takes awhile to get use to the way the features work compared to the smart TV. The Roku2 works great. It's still a little early to say how well it will hold up.

I had heard about Roku for years from friends of mine but I only recently decided to purchase one. It's a real treat! Easy to set up, easy to use. I. LOVE. IT. and I recommend it highly.
