We stopped using cable and this product is perfect for that reason. So easy to set up and the kids can use it easy. Best purchase so far.

I really like the Roku. I wanted to give it five stars but the only thing I gave it four stars for was the control doesn't always work even when I point it directly at the unit with new batteries. other than that its great with an awesome picture.

great product, bought for mom,she can navigate easily and watch netflix and amazon. actually like it better than my smart tv at home and might get one for the 2nd tv in the house.

I own a roku 1 and bought this for my mom for her birthday. At first i bought the roku stick, but had to take it back after 1 day as it kept locking up. This works just like my roku 1, just a bit faster. Terrific device that has replaced cable TV

Best value for streaming. This Roku 2 model has a hardwire network connection. This is very important because you're not just relying on a Wi-Fi signal. Connection is very easy and it is instant. Reminds me of a plug-and-play device that really works. The Roku 3 includes a headset connection from the remote but since I don't need that, this Roku 2 model is enough. The Roku 1 works great with Wi-Fi but no hardwire connection available. I also have an Apple TV but for the most part the Roku 2 is all I need.

very surprised, picked this up for under 70 bucks and had it up and running in just minutes, options and streaming channels are all simple to use and very many to choose from

This thing is very easy to set up. It has a fantastic interface, easy to use and pleasant to look at. Performance is excellent in every way, from picture to searches.

Just what I wanted. Very easy to set up - took about 5 minutes. Extensive selection of streaming channels. The search function is a nice feature. The only drawback is there is no on/off button on the Roku remote or the Roku itself.

I never streamed movies or shows before, but with my new Roku it makes it simple to set up, purchase and watch! Cheaper than cable and offers new releases faster!

We purchased the Roku to reduce our Direct TV bill. I was amazed how easy it was to plug in and get started. We now stream Netflix and other free programming to our TV and have been able to decrease our subscribed channel package in Direct TV, which lowered our bill. Now we can watch our favorite series or movies from many different channels whenever we like! We have recommended it to our friends!

As a busy family we decided to cancel our cable subscription two years ago. Since then, we have tried a couple different streaming devices. Roku is by far our favorite. It offers a wide variety of viewing apps that the other devices didn't. It's also very user friend from set-up to use. The phone app is also wonderful for typing and searching. We hardly use the actual Roku remote at all!

Very easy to set up and use. Makes watching Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu easy to access. Glad I purchased this.

The Roku itself is great. It hardly ever lags compared to the other streaming devices I've used. Only real complaint is the terrible remote. The signal on it is awful and its hard to get it to find the box sometimes.

It works great. Excellent amount of available shows, documentaries, movies, and even silly stuff. I like the remote, simple and efficient. Easy setup.

I have experienced no problems with the Roku. Its easy to setup and use. I would definitely recommend this product and will buy another if the need arises.

For the money, this is the player to have, You get a wide variety of apps and services in an addressable format. Works quickly and adapts to your needs.

Setup was simple but required several steps. Once completed, everything worked well. Unit turns itself off when not in use which is a really nice feature.

After researching ways to optimize my Netflix subscription while also effectively cutting the cord for increasingly outrageous cable prices (and often questionable cable service), I decided to give Roku a try. Chose Roku 2 ultimately, since the voice search/command feature was not a priority for me. Set-up was incredibly simple. Have experienced no major operational complaints so far. Although the selection of free apps that don't require monthly subscriptions or fees is a bit deficient, there is a fair selection of free options for those of us more budget-conscious viewers. Overall, I'm so delighted that I have subsequently also purchased from Best Buy a smart TV which includes built-in Roku. Best Buy...indeed!
