Cons: can't get local channels tv channels, The setup didn't work, had to call tech support and never got a response, was on hold for over an hour before I decided to hang up and returned the set the next day.

No, I would not recommend this to a friendBudget TV with Roku OS

App selection isn't as wide as Android-based software, but also has some apps not available to Android/Google OS TVs. If there are certain apps you want to use, check which systems are compatible.
