This is an amazing gadget. I use it on an older flat screen tv to watch football outside during cookouts. I have Spectrum so I use their app to get all my channels without having to worry about any cables or antennas. Roku has a lot of free stuff and so far I haven't paid for any additional services. No problems to report on signal quality or outages. Works great. I give it 4 stars only because the remote doesn't have numbers and you have to scroll to change the channels. Other than that, I'm very happy with my Roku.

This Roku was a great price, available at the local Best Buy, and easy to connect with my TV and wifi.

This item was purchased to work with my cable package and eliminate the need for additional receivers. I am pleased with the Roku - it offers a number of different options for programming that I had no idea even existed. The Roku setup was extremely easy. The only negative is the Roku remote - it needs more options and functionality; however, I am working with it because in the long run, Roku is saving me money. My player came with Sling tv free for 14 days that I did not have an opportunity to try.

I bought this device for my grandmothers plasma. Installing it was kind of a bummer since it took long. My grandmother is very up to date in technology but she did say the remote can be a hassle. Sometimes she struggles using the remote, since it’s a bit confusing to navigate. Other than the remote it works really good. You can turn any tv into a smart tv. Roku is a great device and would recommend anyone who needs it to buy this one. - review from 21year old and 73 year old.

Easy to use for applications and affordable. Better deal than Apple TV. Very portable

The Roku Express is meant to be a set top box and connects with your HDTV through an HDMI cable instead of directly through a dongle. It can be stuck to the bottom edge of your television with double sided sticky pads. This model is best for those that want to enjoy the subscriptions to streaming services they already have. Slighty less powerful processor than the Roku Stick but it can handle it all.

After researching all the streaming boxes out there when I fired Directv, I settled on the Roku for it's ease of use. I bought one for each of my TV's. I love the new smaller box (a friend has an older model), and it was super easy to set up with my universal remote. I love streaming everything and saving over $125 per month. I still get to watch all of my favorite channels too!

I previously owned a stream stick (v15) had to purchase a replacement remote as 1st one quit after 4 months (only came with 3 mo warranty). Hated it, caused loose connections in my tv and its remote eats batteries! This Roku Express is mounted so the HDMI is not pulling from the weight of the cords, it is easier to switch source to watch and stays connected when I am watching, whereas the stick would go offline even for a second or two because of the looseness, so it would have to completely reboot taking 1-2 min multiple times while watching. THIS EXPRESS stays connected, works with remote or phone EVEN when you change routers (which stick needed the remote to setup new network -not phone- so unable to use stick til spending almost as much as a new to replace remote. I Would HIGHLY recommend the Roku Express to anyone!!! Easy enough for anyone to use! Reliable! Great connections!

I have a Roku device on both of my TVs. They stream beautifully using my home Wi-Fi network. They were easy to set up and I generally stream Netflix and Pandora and programs of the like. I love that I own the hardware and it wasn't terribly expensive.

I have an older Apple TV model that didn’t have some of the channels that I wanted to view. After doing some research I found that Roku had the most channel options of all the streaming devices. I purchased the express because of the price and size. It’s easy to use and is small so it doesn’t take up much space. I’ve really enjoyed this product.
