Excellent purchase, saves the need for another cable box. Connects to cable app. Wish the remote had numbers to go directly to channel instead of only up & down arrows

We are tired of paying for extra cable boxes so we decided to get Roku devices for the bedrooms. Very easy to set up and my nine year old has no problem navigating it.

This roku stick was so easy to set up I own roku tics and instead of buying another one I decided to buy a stick for my 3rd tv and it's just like my regular roku tvs

Already had one so decided to outfit all of the TVs to be able to access on demand viewing at a low cost compared to cable. Simple to install and even easier to use!

Very happy. Had built in Roku on our new big screen so we cut cable. That left the little tv in the family room with just local stations. Now we can stream everywhere.

The Roku Express packs a lot of punch for something only 5 inches long. This is a compact remote with all of the features you need for a great streaming experience.

What can I say about this product; IT'S AMAZING! Very easy to use. I bought the firestick last year to stream UFC FIGHT PASS, how ever, the technology behind Firestick wasn't helpful for this app. Since ROKU, I have bee glued to my couch! So if you have UFC FIGHT PASS and are looking for a streaming device to watch it, use Roku. You will not be dissapointed. All other apps run smoother on here as well. Thanks Roku!

There are obviously better, more expensive options. But for the price of this product I feel that I have received my money's worth (probably a little more actually)

Roku streaming allowed me to cut cable cord it has easy setup comes with roku channels with lots of free movies. Great investment if you want to cut cable cord.

When I read the reviews on this, it stated I could see TV Shows and movies, over 500,000 of them. However, it neglected to state you had to be a subscriber to most of the websites. It would have been helpful if it had stated that. However, if you don't have cable TV, then this would be great. I didn't have it and now I do, which I regret getting. But, there are a lot of free websites you can join, but again, you have to pay for the shows or the subscriptions. There are a lot of free tv and movies though if you are not looking to see certain tv shows or movies.

We bought this Roku express to use with a Samsung smart TV. The Roku express has far more apps than the TV itself. We are not hugely tech savvy so I sometimes worry when we have to install something new. But this couldn't have been easier. Just plug the stick into the back of the TV and the software does the set-up. It works great and we have had no problems with it. We've had the Roku express about 3 months.

The Roku Express is smaller than the previous generation (LT) and also much faster. The channel line-up has the same (and great) Roku offerings. I like that it comes with infra-red (IR) remote because my universal remote is based on IR technology. More premium models come with only Wi-Fi remote which means you'll need to pay more for a high-end universal remote if you want one remote to control everything.

The Express player is a good gateway to get into streaming media player if you're t.v. is not hooked up for it. It keeps a great connection, plays all my apps (Netflix, PS vue, amazon, etc.). The player doesn't always respond to the remote though.. need to hold it a certain way to get it to work. And you need two cords- power source + hdmi cable. could see this being an issue for travel. But great picture, no buffering or stuttering, and all features work as expected.

Love this addition to a secondary bedroom/den media set up. Performs to expectation at a price that can't be beat. Go ahead and get one. You'll be glad you did.

Although I bought this new edition of Roku for a friend, I have 3 others that I can't imagine not having. They are the easiest streaming device to use (compared to Apple TV and the Amazon Fire Stick), and I have family and friends who agree. With this one being much cheaper than the other editions, including the stick, it's a great time to bring one into your entertainment life and see for yourself.

...for people who struggle with the newest technology. It's super easy to use. Got it as a gift to the parents who like Netflix but didn't have a smart TV.

Honestly better than my amazon Firestick. I had to move my firestick to my living room because the wifi wasn't strong enough to reach the bedroom, but the Roku has no problem in that department. NETFLIX/Amazon/HULU streaming is great in 1080p with no lag and buffering. Nice little unit. Only con I have is the unit has to be in line of sight of remote to work. which means I had to add a long HDMI cable to reach from TV (mounted on wall) down to my Receiver.

We ditched our cable package and picked up a Roku for each tv and have been streaming ever since. We like it better than Chrome Cast and is easier to use.
