Great for anywhere. Fairly easy setup and extremely portable. Took it on a weekend vacation so we could have Netflix :-)

Overall, a very good device for a very good price point. If you are looking for your first media streaming unit, I would definitely suggest the ROKU2.

I love this item! I was using my home theatre system with connectivity capabilities to access Netflix and movies, but always had to turn of or reset it to get it to work. The home theatre always froze up during my shows/movies. The Roku is so simple, and I RARELY have any problems, I mean like once a month (maybe). It connects quickly, produces a high quality picture, and was so easy to setup and use. I connected it to my TV with a HDM1 cord so I get a HD picture, which is nice. My son loves the free Angry Bird clips it lets you access. If I had to sum it up in one word it would be AWESOME!!!

This unit is one of the better ones out there. It has more streaming options than most, and is easier to set up. Very good unit.

Enough features to do what I was looking for which is streaming Netflix and Amazon. I found that I enjoy using Pandora as well as news channels.

It is very cool. My husband and I enjoy watching movies. We use very often. Specially in the evening, We recommend to everybody young and old. It's easy to use.

The Roku continues to amaze me with its ability to operate even with minimal wi-if.

This product is great if your looking to save money and cancel your cable bill. It has many features to chose from as well as buying channels on a month to month basis.

Easy to use, replaces cable in my opinion. Well worth the price.

I do not have cable or satellite as I do not see the return on investment for my family ... I had thought that a paid subscription was necessary for Roku ... when I found I was wrong I bought one. The wide range of channels available for FREE is astounding, plug it links to my Hulu Plus account and allows me to stream files from my computer.

Been using it occasionally for about a year. It's great if you've never had the ability to view online items on your TV. However, sometimes the unit freezes and reboots.

What we had kept getting more and more expensive so I decided to get rid of it and get a ROKU instead. Since we have an antenae and the converter box for our old tv, I got the cheapest ROKU available. It was difficult to set up but the chatroom from ROKU helped me and we got it installed.... I am happy to see that there are some free movies, I wish there were more westerns in color, and that I could find a live tv news channel!

Love this gadget. I let's you streem from your computer or Internet to your TV. Use it all the time and gave never had a problem with it.

time to get rid of cable tv, this is great and I really enjoy it

This has so many free channels available. Easy setup and browsing, I would say just some clicks. Only thing I would suggest is that Roku web interface should let user add channels.

Does everything that I want it to do. I didn't like the way you have to set it up, but after you get though with that it easy use and to operate. But it works great.

During set up roku requires your credit card information, despite the fact that you are not buying anything now and may never. I just wanted the device to stream netflix to my tv. I am already a netflix member. I am not buying any other channels. No reason for roku to have my credit card on file. Also you can't add free channels like PBS kids without roku sharing your email address with PBS.
