The Roku Streaming Stick I recently purchased meets my needs for a TV that is not hooked up to cable. It provides me Netflix and other apps that provide me with good entertainment on that TV., without paying a monthly cable box fee.

We have one of these in the front room. My wife finds it quite user-friendly. I bought one for her as a Christmas gift so she can watch her movies and serials in the bedroom during baseball season when I'm watching the L.A. Angels.

I am very happy with this model. I have owned other Roku units over the years, but this one is faster for loading the movies, etc. I like it so much that I bought three of them, two for our home and one for our Daughter's family.

I had previously purchased a Roku LT and liked it so much, I purchased the Roku Streaming stick for our main flat screen TV. I moved the Roku LT to the new 24" flat screen TV purchased for the bedroom so we can use Roku on both TVs.

The Smart Hub function stopped working but I didn't want to replace the entire TV given the picture was still perfect. Used Roku stick as a solution which works perfectly. $800 for a new TV or a $50 Roku, pretty easy choice.

It’s was working perfectly fine. Easy to use but recently it has been shutting down every time i try putting netflix on or pandora. Even if it’s on the home screen it shuts down. Overall it was a good product in the beginning.

This was the second Roku we purchased, because we were so pleased with the first one. We chose to put one on each TV rather than moving it from TV to TV. Allowed us to "cut the cord" and save $85/month on television service.

I bought this because it is portable, easy to move from TV to TV and is compatible with Time Warner Cable. I essentially was able to eliminate the small boxes that Time Warner charges you for monthly to rent. Time Warner works with thru the stick. The problems I have run into more than once is when I have rented HDTV movies off of the apps they offer. I have noticed a continued issue where the movie will randomly black out for a second or two then all of a sudden work like nothing happened. This same issue will continue to repeat at random times throughout the entire movie. That to me is unacceptable. Roku needs to do something to keep these random blackouts from occurring.

I tired of ever increasing cable bills and all the junk included in paid programming in which I have no interest. So bought this Roku stick and loaded the apps that are interesting for my family including netflix and hulu. I have amazon prime so added that too. Pleased with the product so far.

The Roku stick has been great so far. Plenty of channel choices along with the favorites like Netflix, Amazon, & Hulu. One drawback is the requiring of a credit card to setup. Having purchased Roku and the Amazon Fire TV, the jury is still out which one I like the best. However, this is my second purchase of Roku because I am having issues with constantly replacing batteries for the Amazon remote.

We decided to mix up our arsenal of streaming devices(currently all amazon products). I am sure glad we did, the responsiveness of this unit is amazing. This feels like an upgrade to us over our previous generation fire tv box.

The Roku streaming stick was purchased to compliment a Samsung "smart" TV. I am thrilled with the options available with the Roku -- I don't do cable anymore and with this product you don't have to. Extremely pleased with product.

I haven't used a Roku in forever and decided to give it another shot....I must say it's an excellent product and love all the new upgrades. If you are trying to make your tv into a smart tv, you can't go wrong with this device.

Don't be fooled, this is the second best roku player. Only the highest end has faster networking capabilities. Be mindful of which remotes have the point anywhere functionality, it is not listed on the box, this one has it!

I am LOVING my Roku streaming device! Inspired my daughter to get one for her TV. The free 'channel' lineup is extensive, very user friendly, smart device compatible, and just simply overall amazing!! Best thing since sliced bread!

Was looking for a device that has all of the apps that we use on our phones and this device has them all and then some. This device has exceeded my expectations and my family and I love this device. Will be getting another one.

We purchased a Roku TV about a year ago and fell in love with it and decided we needed a Roku stick for the other TVs in the house! It hasn't disappointed, I only wish it had the volume control like the Roku TV remote does.

It came out of the box and fired up great. A short HDMI extension cable was needed separately. My main issue was during sign up, you needed (yet again.....) to provide your credit card. I returned it, and Best Buy was great about it.

We have had the Roku for just over 6 months and we really like it. Works well for streaming our Directv now and netflix. We recently got the next model up and like that one even more because it has a power button and volume controls so we only need the Roku remote for everything!
