I bought this stick for my children's playroom in the basement. It really works well. The older one didn't catch the signal as well as this one does. HD streams everytime, with a good ISP of course. I highly recommend.

It is a good device but has had some issues the first few days. Gave me lots of issues accessing my amazon account. The voice activation is also not working? Luckily i dont care much about that. All and all its a great product but i find that the roku is easier and faster to use.

It was not easy to setup, we had to get some help. The help we got walked us through the set up. Now we are able to enjoy all the free channels and since we have Amazon Prime we can view that on our TV now also.

I purchased this because I'm considering eliminating cable tv. It's a start with the free stuff but I know I'll have to subscribe to Netflix or Hulu or something like that to progress. I'm still learning so for now, this is OK.

...necessarily. As long as you know someone with a current subscription to a cable service, you can watch almost anything. It is great if you already have cable and want to avoid running wires for an additional box.

Excellent and does it purpose. I was very confused looking at the catalogue of Roku products and then decided to buy this. I haven't regretted on it. So don't spend more money unless you have a clear agenda about it.

You can get hundreds of channels not available with a HD antenna. You also have the option to replace channels from Cable or Dish service and lower your cost. Great selection of international stations and movies.

My wife purchased this item for her office which is only equipped with WiFi. It works great! She loved it so much, we purchased 2 more (one was a Roku 4 device - BTW, Love the 4K programming it provides) for our home.

This is ok for the price. Not great. Reason being is that it lags a lot. It's better to pay a little more for a fire tv stick which is much faster. Or if you want a very good experience you can't go wron with a shield tv.

I read the reviews, looked at the product on the Roku web site and then talked to a Best Buy sales associate before purchasing the Roku streaming stick. Easy to install and use. I have been very pleased with it.

The Roku streamer is great for streaming content. Their customer support is good as well. As for the Roku remote, not so great.... I have 3 Roku remotes.. All which have broken. The back of the remotes have all been broken.

The signal kept dropping from the unit. I tried it on two TVS and had the same problem and one TV was adjacent to the modem. Gave it 2 stars as it may be my Internet connection and not the stick itself. My ROKU 3 box seems to work well so am going to try another box.

I am a web developer by trade and I work a lot with designers and UI designers and the UI on the Roku is very pleasing and easy to navigate. The device is very responsive and boots up quickly. It's not apple tv but since I have Amazon Prime, it's the best device for Prime.

We use the stick for Time Warner cable on other TVs. Works great. The only thing I wish it has was the numbers on the remote to find a channel. Have to go into guide and scroll through till you get to channel

I purchased it for my 91 year old mother. It will take some getting use to operating it. I do like the soft key touch. I well like that once you choose an item to watch, a box appears giving a description of the highlighted item. Overall, it is a good option to having cable

We live the portable stick. We bring it when we travel with our small children to ensure there are programs they are familiar with. One thing to note is that it has an IR receiver, so the Roku app does not work.

using the Roku device to stream the spectrum app on an older TV. Works great. A bit clunky logging in due to not using an actual keyboard. Once logged in tough it works great!

Reviewed all the current sticks and gadgets and decided this was the best value for 50$. Not disappointed at all. In fact I installed it for some elderly friends so they could get NetFlix. Great product all round
