We finally decided to cut the cord and ditch cable. And with this little streaming stick, we really don't miss it at all. For $50, you really can't beat it.

I purchased a HDMI coupler and extended my stick about 6" closer to my router. My router is upstairs and it wasn't quite close enough for good reception.

Set up was easy and it appears to provide reasonable streaming capabilities. Follow on support in the way of helpful hint emails is a nice feature.

I bought this for my grandson who was having trouble getting cable access at school. He said it's very easy to use and he likes that he can get all his favorite channels now. He hasn't had any problems with it.

This is my first streaming unit, and I'm glad I went with the 2016 Roku Stick. It is the best value for money in their line and with my wi fi it's awesome.

Needed internet accessibility for my tv and this fit the bill perfect. Came with 2 free months of hbo go and a free month of sling, paid for itself.

Bought this to get rid of the extra charter boxes to save monthly fee. Works 95% of the time great. Drops internet every now and then which is a bit annoying. Not sure if this device is the problem however.

Put a tv outside and didn't want to get another cable box for it so figured I would try this. A lot of free channels with commercials but works fine. Probably will end up getting a Netflix account to enjoy it more.

I already had a smart tv and decided to get the Roku, this is the best purchase in a long time. Roku is great and I will NEVER go back to cable again.

It's hard to imagine that just a few years ago, this sort of device was not available. Easy to install and use and there's a raft of available channels.

I have purchased three for myself and two for gifts. I recommend them for cleaning up TV and for reducing cost. We use a outside antennae and Roku.

Its a basic streaming device and I suppose that's the main issue... it looks, feels and performs... "basic". Honestly, for the price on competitor devices, there are few compelling reasons to opt for a Roku in 2020. Its user interface looks very dated, the Roku website for interfacing with your device is rudimentary and several (98%) of the free channels I added from the Roku website was offline/non-functional. Brand name products shouldn't be this basic but here we are.

I love that it's so easy to use, my kids can get to their apps all by themselves! Easy and convenient! They love that they can be more independent

If your internet is fast enough, this is the one to get. Only reason to get roku 2 or 3 is for ethernet port. Cnet actually rates this as the best value

We got rid of cable and bought two Roku Streaming sticks. I was a little worried but this has worked out great. The Roku gives us access to numerous apps!

I love watching TV program in full 1080P with my Roku. I get to see many Youtube videos with no delays. There so many shows and channel to choose from.

This thing is awesome. Wish I would have switched sooner. Saved my self 65 bucks a month but getting rid of cable. Start up cost is expensive. But worth it

I love this roku device and am planning to purchase another one for my second TV -- it is so simply to use -- sorry, I'm a bit tech challenged

I use this device in my living room and love it. I love the ability to cast from my phone to the tv. I no longer use my chrome cast for this function.
