Love this brand Roku for streaming. I was not sure about using a streaming device & it was easy. I now have 4 of these.

Bought the Roku stick because it was the recommendation given on the smartTV I received. The Roku was so easy to install, with simple-to-follow step-by-step instructions. The remote is the most logical one I have ever worked with and the whole system is amazing!

After I got the "no YouTube in 2018" warning on Fire TV Stick I needed to replace it. So far I like Roku much better. It works as expected and the volume/power buttons for the television are a great addition. I only have three complaints which are very minor. One really isn't Roku's fault. First, there is no sleep mode on the device. It will only go to a screensaver. Not a major issue for me as I power it via USB on the TV so it loses power when the TV is off. I have an older smart TV so this boots about as quick as my TV. Second, Roku made me give a credit card when I created my account. This irritated me as I was primarily planning to use free services along with Amazon and Netflix. I was subsequently able to remove the card from the account, but it still irritated me I had to put it in in the first place. Third, this really isn't Roku's fault, but there is no way to force the streaming resolution to be at a lower resolution if you are trying to limit bandwidth usage. Netflix allows this to be done in the general account settings. Fire TV Stick allows it for Amazon content on the device. That same option isn't available in the Roku "app". Amazon claimed this is a common request and something they are considering adding.

I recently cut the cable cord and went to streaming for my television viewing. I decided to upgrade to the newest Roku streaming stick. This is the 3rd generation -- I actually own all 3. This stick is faster than it's predecessor. One of the changes from the past versions is that the remote can now control the power and volume of your TV which is nice-- one less remote to worry about. It also has voice search-- it only searches in the Roku app, but it's a nice feature. I am impressed with how easy Roku makes streaming.

I love my Roku. It is easy to install, plug it in and follow the directions. The new model has an on/off button and volume button so the TV remote can be put away. And, I'm not paying a monthly fee for a cable box from Spectrum.

The Roku stick is easy to set up and the interface is easy to use. The remote works with our TV and makes it very comfortable. We enjoy the flexibility this product offers.

UI is extremely simple and this streaming device provides more apps than others I researched. As a cable cord cutter, I am waiting for the Youtube TV app to drop.

I never thought that I would ever really have a need for any of the streaming sticks especially since I had a Blu-ray player in my bedroom that had the smart capabilities. However a few weeks ago I turned on my Blu-ray player to watch Hulu and found that it was no longer supported on the player. So off I went to Best Buy to purchase this device. I got it home and it was super easy to set up with the exception that I needed an extender cable in order for it to fit because the stand that my tv sits on was right in the way of the stick making it to tight of a fit. All you have to really do is follow the included quick start instructions and on screen prompts and you will be good to go. The only two things that I would change is I wish that the remote had a mute button especially since it can control your tv volume but all you can do is raise or lower the volume. The other thing is that I wish that you would be able to power it off when not in use like if I am watching a dvd or using my dish box. Other than that it’s fantastic!! It has way more capabilities than my Blu-ray player including a voice remote plus it was way cheaper especially since we had a rewards certificate! I will be purchasing another one of these for our living room tv.

I got this to upgrade some older Roku Sticks so I could use DirectTV NOW. It's actually a great and welcomed improvement. The performance is great, interface stellar as ever, and now I can control everything from the Roku remote. It's so much easier just using the Roku remote to turn on/off the TV, adjust volume, etc. Don't have to fumble with multiple remotes anymore which is great. Have purchased a few more as well to upgrade all my Roku Sticks with this new model.

Easy to set up, works great for our kitchen tv! Running cable to tv location would be near impossible and an indoor antenna did not pull in any over the air channels as we live too far from any tv stations.

Bought as a alternative to getting cable for my daughters room. No regrets and my daughter loves it. Easy to set up. No hitches with signal or picture.

The Roku Stick is very easy to use and is a great product especially with such a great price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get into streaming using their tv antenna.

I purchased this Streaming Stick for the TV in my "man cave". I already had the Roku Premier in my bed room, but moving it back, and forth is a hassle. The streaming stick is GREAT! It's small, and if I do need to take it to another location no hassle! Just unplug it, and drop it in my pocket, and with the added ability to turn the TV on & off, and volume control, it allows you to eliminate your tv remote! I love it!

I needed a way to receive spectrum cable out in the patio without a cable box or cables everywhere. This was such a great way to watch tv out in my patio without the extra $$ and cable box

Can't go wrong with Roku...cheap, fast, reliable and tons of content options. I cut the cord 2 months ago and haven't looked back. I purchased a variety of Rokus for each TV in our house and they'll all pay for themselves in short order. Great access to a variety of streaming services and a great way to consolidate it all with one simple remote. The new power and volume buttons that work with your TV are awesome and super easy to set up.

I bought this for my kids bedroom to stream cable tv and I really like it. It’s much nicer than my Apple TV and the remote is so much better. You can turn the tv on and off, adjust the volume, voice search with the controller. The setup (once it was connected) was very smooth. I have two complaints. The first one is that it requires you to save your credit card info in case you want to make purchases. I feel that should be optional. The 2nd thing I didn’t like was the way the stick is. My TVs are flat against the wall. The hdmi ports are in the back of our flatscreens. So I had to squeeze the stick in between my wall and TV causing my tv to stick out on the one side a bit. The company does sell extensions for this. Unfortunately they do not provide one with each purchase. I paid $60 not including tax they could at least provide the extension with every purchase for customers that don’t have any HDMI ports at the bottom of their tv. Regardless it gets the job done and I really do love it. It’s much better than the Apple TV I have in my bedroom.

easy to use , love the options on the remote like power button and volume control of tv, all in one remote- lots of apps, but the only thing I am waiting is for them to update the ps vue menu , that needs to change like what amazon fire stick and playstation does it.

The setup and use of Roku could not be easier. There is a good amount of content available. Ultimately, I returned this and switched to a Fire Stick dor Prime content. The Roki remote with TV control is better. If you are a Primw member, go with the Fire stick.

Great little streaming stick. I use for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YoutubeTV, Tablo, and Sling. Solid wifi, great picture, fast, highly recommended. One note, there is no Roku app for SiliconDust HDHomeRun. Second note: this is 1080p, not 4K. There's a 4K model that costs a little more. I'm a cord cutter and use Sling and a OTA Antenna with Tablo. I'm extremely happy.

This is great to help keep up with our shows! Lots of channels to download and the quality is great.
