i bought the roku ultra for my new samsung 4k tv !!

Worked well and as advertised. I am pleased with it.

This streaming media player was very easy to install and set up. It took about 10 minutes. There are hundreds of free channels/movies to view, offering a great choice of possibilities. The picture quality is great.

Very user friendly. Great for the kids and adults.

Great for a cord cutting household would recommend

This is a great streaming device. It is fast yet easy to use. They do have more advanced things you can do to add more channels when what comes with it. I tried other roku devices and this is my favorite one yet.

This device is amazing. I have an internet enabled TV that gets Hulu and channels like that, but the Roku pictures look better on the same TV. It's also easier to find stuff with the voice search on the Roku.

I am amazed with the picture quality, speed and options that the Roku 4 Ultra provides. It is totally a New TV experience for me since it is my first Roku. I would recommend it to all my family and friends

First off, I don't know the difference between this and the premiere + besides the voice activated remote. So you can save $10 there. UHD and 4k content looks great. I was initially turned off by watching the NFL via sling until I tried DirecTV now and realized sling was the problem (PS Vue sports looked like garbage as well). Now I'm ready to cut the cord and ditch the expensive 1000 channels of junk provided by cable. The setup is easy and the interface is snappy. A must have if you can't stand the laggy and cumbersome input of built in smart tv apps. Go with one of the wired models if you want best quality. This will deliver. Plus, I can buy 2 of these for the price of one month of cable.

I recently purchased this Roku Ultra, realizing I wouldn't need all of it's features, but also interested in comparing the voice search to it's fruit logo bearing competitor (the Roku voice search works better IMO). Funny enough, the remote finder has also proven useful. Otherwise, comparing to the competition, having bought their top level streamer months before, allot comes down to preference on user interface and workflow. The Roku box allows for more and better channels to be added, including Amazon video which (competitor) doesn't. For those of use who use Amazon for so much that is what motivated me to relegate my few month old <Fruit>TV to the graveyard of old technology in my basement....

I own 6+ different Roku's. This is the fastest and nicest of the ones I have. Works well with my 4K tv. I'd definitely recommend it for any tv watcher.

Roku 4 has great screen layout and streaming. Remote control is easy plus earphone jack makes earphone listening easy. Talk to text is good but operates only on Roku system and not in apps like Netflix.

Right out of the box impressed with this roku. Have had many different ones and this one makes them all look bad. Quick response, love the voice search and headphone jack on remote. Great product

I will Never go back to cable or satellite!! Not only is it much less expensive than cable or satellite, the picture quality is awesome. I also like that it allows you to view 4K programing!!

First time using the Roku. Easy to setup and works great .

The Ultra is a decent streaming device. The remote for the ultra even has a headphone jack for private listening, great for me. The one shortcoming I have seen is some audio latency with the headphone jack. Not terrible, but it can be distracting. No complaints other than that, unit works fine.

Having used a Roku 3 for several years and finally making the plunge to replace an old Plasma TV, I elected to upgrade my Roku to take full advantage of my new 4K TV. This Roku is much faster and the upgraded home theater features are appreciated (dedicated optical port and coaxial connection). This unit is larger from my old model 3, but certainly smaller than the model 4. The only weird thing about this Roku is the fact that 4K HDR content causes the screen on my TV to display a bright purple image. Most of the time this image disappears quickly, but some of the time, it doesn't. Being that this is a relatively new product, I hope that this issue is remedied with a software update. Until then, I'll have to continue being annoyed by an otherwise great product.

I went with the Ultra to future proof and for the voice input on the remote. The Ultra has performed as expected except for the following: - Using an IR universal remote is not great. The IR receiver could be better - Voice search has not worked well. It takes multiple times to get voice to text to work correctly if at all Other nit picks are across to Roku interface: - Universal search would be nice. If I don't have Hulu installed, don't include it in the results. - The interface is dated and needs a serious refresh - Having to purchase a skin to change the look? If I had to do it again, I'd probably choose the Premiere + andI'd save $30. It still has HDR and you lose the faulty voice input.
