I'm new to streaming video, for the most part, and am amazed at all the apps available on the Roku. I can't believe that I can stream some of the networks for FREE. No lag an great picture.

We decided to drop cable TV . We chose roku for streaming. easy to set up and low profile device. Weare really satisfied with performance. It has most commonly available services like netflix ,amazon, sling. etc

Thrilled with the device over all. Had one device freeze, and the MLB app on Roku is showing me commercials while the one on Apple TV doesn't. Otherwise it's been solid, easy to use, and the picture is great.

I enjoyed the Roku although ultimately ended up returning it. All the current streaming devices have some pro's and con's, but Roku just came out on the bottom for me. I much prefer the Amazon Fire and the Shield TV. Roku does have a nice, clean interface.

The Roku Ultra does great with 4K HDR streaming, however, please note that there is very little 4K HDR content available, and the 4K (non-HDR) content isn’t appreciably different than 1080p visually. Also, roku’s 4K Spotlight channel doesn’t search for 4K content, just shows your channels with 4K content available.

Wanted to try the Roku Ultra to plug in my LG UHD 4K TV and it's a good device watching content on it as 4K continues to come out more it's streams 4K content very well, in reality it's not that different from the premiere + The things about the Ultra player is that it features live voice search, usb port (note: it's a USB 2.0 port) and digital optical audio out jack. If you want the top of the line player yes the Ultra is the one to get but if your looking to save a few bucks I would consider the premiere + more as it does about the same things as the Ultra does.

I have have had several generations of Roku and I feel this is the best to date. The picture quality is much better especially with my 4kHDR TV. Very easy to set up and use.

Roku allows use of many tv and video apps so you can watch tv cheaply. Best if you subscribe to video services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu or an over-the-top tv service like DirecTV Now. Or, if you have a cable or satellite subscription already, you can log into lots of networks apps with your account credentials from your other service to enable their app on Roku. However, lots of video streams in the various apps stutter or freeze even with high-bandwidth internet connections. Getting all channels is difficult. The individual network apps usually work better than Hulu or DirecTV Now, but even they have random streaming issues too. This whole thing works best if you already have cable or satellite and just want to watch TV occasionally on an extra tv that's connected to a Roku instead of paying for another set-top-box from your TV provider.

This is my first Roku and wow. I got it for my parents but I've been using the heck out of it. You can stream photos and videos from your smart phone via wifi and the roku app and it surprisingly works pretty well. Also, the media player on it via USB also allows for some good memories. This thing is so FAST. I mean, their smart TV gets the job done when streaming content from Netflix, Amazon, etc but this thing just loads everything almost instantaneously. It is a blazer. Highly recommend.

Love it. Simple to use. Works fast, good response time on the remote. The feature to speak into the remote for searching is great. The earphone option is great too. Overall happy with this item.

I really love my roku media player. I bought this model because it had a faster processor that didnt really freeze up. The point anywhere comes in handy.. i dont have to point directly at the box.

Hands down the best streaming device across multiple platforms. Voice search remote searches all providers. Headphone jack in remote is great for not disturbing others.

Roku does great what Western Digital started doing well. This device streams virtually any video file I have on my network and offers an tremendous number of channels from across the world. The interface is easy to use, and the voice command may be useful but I haven't used it because I don't have that many pay type channels that I subscribe to. I have several Roku devices and the added voice command button on the ultra remote is where the select button is on my other models. Takes a little bit of getting used to. Overall, a reliable easy to use product. The aquarium screensaver is nice too!

This is the fastest streaming device I've had. Really works well. Very responsive and fast. Love the voice search feature and would buy again! Really nice picture too!

If your looking for a streaming media player, this is it. Hands down. 4k, vudu, fandango now, and it's fast and clean,and so much more. You could ditch cable and get by on this as well.

Easy to Navigate and love the interface. Buffering is almost noon-existant and love the quality and you can attach the headphones to the remote is a great feature,

We only have streaming services for tv, so this product is great with our new 4K tv. I love the lost remote finder, and the gaming. Provides great quality picture. Wish the price was less.

I have owned several Roku devices and have been very happy with each. I bought this one because our brand new home was hard wired with ethernet connections in every room. This Roku streams HD continuously as smooth as a DVD player. Highly recommended.

I really wasn't sure what to expect from a Roku. It was easy to set up via wireless network, intuitive to use, fast with a great picture. Having fun with it!
