I bought this Roku ultrabecause I upgraded to a 4k HDR TV. This Roku ultra does exactly what it is supposed to do. Picture looks amazing, fast speed and a lot smaller than the Roku 4.

It's a nice media streaming device. It's has the necessary apps and the bonus of 4K resolution. I find the included earbuds a helpful but only an occasional used feature. Setup is easy.

I bought this Roku Ultra because we had a tv in one of our family rooms where we could not fish cable wire to and being in a new home we did not want wires showing. This was perfect! Not only does it produce great pictures but it gives so many options from Netflix, to Amazon Video, to YouTube, and Sling and on top of that a lot of cable channels that I have in the other rooms of my house. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I thought Comcast/Xfinity had an agreement with Roku for an app but there are quite a few channels including the NFL networks that I cannot get on the Roku through Comcast/Xfinity. Hopefully this changes at some point.

This is my second Roku Device, my other one is a Roku 3, liked it so much bought the Ultra, I would definately recommend this for others, a Great Product.

This model is faster, has voice control and 4K capability that my old XS didn't have. You can also "beep" your remote if you can't find it. Great!

Better picture with 4k Tv or regular hd Tv ,faster video processor and controls,fantastic sound on earphones for late night tv watching LOVE IT .

By far the best streamer out in the market. It’s really great with delivering content fast from a small box. The best asset of the Roku Ultra is the capability of having optical audio out to easily plug into your homes surround sound.

My att cable bill went up. Was so happy to learn about streaming from the experts at Best Buy. I got an antenna and a Roku. Antenna:I love the tv shows. Clean. No adult movies showing up in line up. There are plenty of free movies. Happy shows not so dark. 5 Christian channels too. I got 46 total. The Roku is awesome. I get YouTube for news Netflix and Amazon for movies and binge watching when working out. My bill went down to $20. So happy with Best Buy roku and my leaf antenna. One of the best things I have ever done. .

With this unit I have not noticed any flickering of the picture or sound distortions. It as are all my ROKU device, is easy to install and set-up.

Use this to do way with TWC boxes. Easy to setup and saved me $15 a month in box rental fees. Made up the cost in only 5 months then all the rest is profit. I now have taken $50 a month off my cable charges with no reduction in service. Use this to access your TWC app (or any other free feeds) through your internet to your 2nd, 3rd and 4th or more TV's. You could even do this at a second home that has internet and bring your box with you when on vacation at no cost of having cable TV service at the second location. Great money saver.

Super simple to set up. Just plug and play basically. Pretty fast slim and easy to tuck away. Remote works from anywhere. Tons of channels

I needed a second media player in my house, I already owned a Roku 3 in the past, but I went ahead and spoke with the customer service rep at the store, who was extremely knowledgeable about all of the various media players that they sold. I read reviews regarding this player, and there were several complaining about the larger size and overheating. I asked the rep about the issue, he had had no returns for those issues. This is the best product ever - I wish the lst one I bought had been a Roku 4 before!

Bought this Roku to add smart TV capability to my 40" TCL dumb TV. Really happy with performance. Easy setup and streams beautifully.

It's so fast compared to my old unit. Remote works great, app remote is handy as well. Best option for cable replacement on the market.

I needed to get a new roku since I switched to a streaming service for my television. This roku has everything that I wanted! It upscales the streaming television to 1080 so it doesn't look like I got rid of HD TV. I also wanted a digital optical port so that I could have the sound come from that since I am not a huge fan of HDMI arc. Lastly, I wanted the ethernet plug so I could have stable internet access for it. Overall this unit has performed exceptionally and I have had no issues for the 3 months I've owned it.

I like exploring the tons of content, but wish the free content was more current. That being said, this device is a great way to break away from your dish or satellite provider, and the prices are definitely better.

Video output is superb. Quiet and well built and easy to use. Way better than the Apple TV. 4K support and 1080P support.

The USB streaming works great from a powered HDD. ALSO my TV is an older Sony and the Netflix app is an old interface, this new interface makes it easier to browse and choose programs. There is NO live TV or local stations so it does NOT replace cable. Most channels are 'on demand' older movies and TV shows including many black and white. Overall, it is the USB streaming that makes this model worth it (the ULTRA). If a person has a young child this would be great as there is an abundance of channels that would keep young ones entertained.

This is a great device. Easy to setup, the 4K pictures are great. I would recommend this to anyone looking to cut the cord.

I love this box. Processor is fast and load times a quick. Great picture quality.
