This is my second Roku Ultra I've purchased as my 4k tv collection has grown. I have one in the bedroom and one in the living room and they both work great. The 4k content on Netflix looks amazing when streaming from my Ultra. I like the UI of the dashboard and it makes navigating to my favorite apps easy. There are a ton of channels you can add now, which is great since I refuse to pay for cable or satellite tv. If you have a new 4K TV this is the streaming device you want.

I received this as a birthday present from my wife. I had just shut off our Directv. I was surprised that Sling offered a cloud based recording capability. It works very well. Overall I love it!

bought this to replace an older Apple TV device. I def prefer the Roku over Apple. So many more stations to choose from and love the ability to use headphones with it! This is a great device...

This Roku has everything I can imagine that you'd need for streaming. I did find that it didn;t work on one of my older flat screen TVs, although i think I can set the resolution, Very pleased.

Cut the cord. We only have an antenna and the ROKU now. We really are pleased with the reception. Be sure to have an appropriate sized router though. Has saved us a lot of money each month.

I replaced my 4th gen apple TV with the Roku Ultra. The Roku has more channel choices, and supports 4k streaming. I am happy with it, the interface is not as attractive as the apple TV, but the apps all work just fine.

I have the Roku 4 as well. This Roku is faster and doesn't get as hot. I recommend the Roku over any smart tv.

This is an upgrade from the ROKU Stick and I love it! This is clean, fast and efficient. I used to hate scrolling through ROKU channels because of the amount of time it took. Now, it is easier than scrolling through a cable guide, and less of a hassle to sort and more intuitive too. 4K UHD HDR programs are crisp and clear, dare I say almost lifelike. I recommend this player highly and without reservation. It even works seamlessly with my Samsung remote!

We recently purchased this Roku device to replace an Apple TV (2nd generation) device that began to become unreliable. So far, I really like the Roku -- there are a lot of streaming channels and services available, as well as some neat games -- and most are free, although some require subscriptions. Like the quality, ease of use, and variety and availability of content. I would recommend this device to anyone considering a streaming media device.

I love this. I was an apple tv user, but the roku allows me to use a great amount of apps. I love Pandora and I got super annoyed because Apple tv doesn't support that service.

Works well with 4k TV. Streaming without hesitations or pauses. Easy to use. Remote is intuitive.

I was using the Amazon FireTV Stick for over a year and was happy with the product. I am also using Plex with that product. However, when I use it remotely, the performance is unbearable. But with this Roku device, although nearly 3 times the price, it works beautifully and without a hitch. No more pausing, not connected, etc. Using this to stream programs from Amazon Prime Video, cable provider's programming, etc, is also a joy.

Bought to replace cable box to avoid incurring regular monthly charges and it works just fine and as a bonus I now get guide and access to youtube and multi streaming arenas.

Easy to install and the video quality is excellent. So many channels to choose from. Really love it.

I like that they keep improving and keep in step with the new TV's. This is my second one now I can watch in the family room and bedroom both of which have Samsung 4K TV's.

Using the Roku Ultra to play content on a 4k TV. Works great but recently had some issues with Netflix. The app would hangup simply while navigating and couldn't find a fix. Turns out had some Roku and Netflix updates hiding in the settings menu, didn't seem so apply them automatically. Forced them and the problems vanished (updated once for Roku, again for Netflix). If you have issues, go there and check. Otherwise I'm really enjoying using this as a way to get 4K content to my TV.

We previously owned the Roku 4. Because we were adding a 4K TV, we purchased this latest version of the Roku. So far, it has performed flawlessly. One point - we cut the cord/cable last year. With a smart TV, we technically don't need a Roku, but it is so convenient to use, we decided to stick with it. We haven't tried 4K streaming to my knowledge, because it is so new, but look forward to seeing what it looks like.
