I plan on purchasing a 4K HDR TV this year, and I have an older non 4K receiver, so I purchased the Roku Ultimate because it has an optical audio output. It looks great on my 1080P TV and I expect it to look even better on my 4K TV, when I get it.

This is a great streaming box if you want all services known to man...

Like the find remote feature and the night listening as well as the usb plug in for video.

Love Roku. Love the Apps and ease. Lots of Apps to chose from (many free). Love the 4K feature. This was easy to set up and use. I have a smart TV and still use the Roku for additional Apps. Highly recommended.

I decided to cut ties with my tv provider when the price creeped up over $150. I purchased the Roku to facilitate the change. I have been using it for a month now and am pleased. I wish I had done this years ago and saved a great deal of money.

The UI can use lot of improvements, but other than that , Roku rocks. This is my first roku and truly impressed what it can offer in a tiny package (4K,HDR,USB,HDMI,Ethernet). Lots of streaming options. Remote finder, audio listening on remote earphones are nice. Worth every penny.

I had an old Roku and gave it to a friend so I can upgrade to a better one. The grandkids enjoyed watching movies using it whenever they ave sleepover at our place. It is easy to use and they love having their own personal choices of movies.

Did not work through my firewall, Sony did. Remote needs off button. Great screen saver.

I have had them all Apple TV, Fire Tv, Nvidia Shield and Roku. They all have advantages and disadvantages depending on what you watch and use them for. I switched back to roku ultra because of 4K and the audio pass through for my Sonos system.

I can't tell you how amazing this is. Once you've logged into you various accounts you can take it anywhere. Recently the family went on vacation and we took it with us. Amazing to have your toddlers favorite shows and movies with you.

It compliments and adds functionality to the basic smart TV apps.

Roku does it again! This roku ultra device is excellent. Works well for streaming and has the ability to download many apps. The remote is easy to use and comes with a user friendly voice activation feature.

Good product for streaming; even does 4K. But if you primarily own Apple devices as I do, it's not compatible with them. I'll wait for Apple TV to offer 4K before I get another one of these. Returned this product since it was not compatible with any of my devices at home.

Replaced old Roku XS with this when XS quit working after several years. Better picture quality than old unit. Took it on vacation to have Netflix at night at the resort. Worked great. (Don't forget to take an hdmi cable on vacation.)

I owned the early model of this device, and I enjoy the up grades.

This is the best Roku I have ever owned. I've had the Roku stick and the Roku 3. After reading about all of the issues with the Roku 4 I decided not to buy it and decided to buy this one instead and so far I haven't had any issues with it.
