i have firestick as well. the roku 4k player just had ethernet option and i want speed and quality for my main living room, no issues, it updates to make sure it works well.

We're new to cord-cutting having just moved to a neighborhood with fiber-to-the-home internet. The Roku Ultra is easy to setup. We like the user interface. The voice search is very handy! The remote is limiting, but we use a Harmony remote to unify everything, and the Roku app on our Android phones. We use Hulu, Playstation Vue, Starz, and PBS so far, and are exploring more every day on the channel (aka "app") store.

I had heard that this ROKU for Ultra HD was noisy. We have not experienced any noise at all with this device. It is easy to use and navigate through the ROKU menu.

I bought this ROKU to see if the picture quality was as good as the one I am getting from Directv. It certainly is, no problem there. The set up was extremely easy. Recently my remote was not working so I went online to the ROKU site. They had trouble shooting videos that indicated my remote needed to be paired up. I followed their instructions and my remote works fine. I am totally impressed with ROKU.

I love the simplicity of this unit. Attach power cord, HDMI and Ethernet cable, and you're ready to watch all your favorites! Easy to use menu functions. Enjoy!

I bought this to go with my new Samsung 4K curved TV because I read all the great things this top of the line Roku could do. Problem is it doesn't work with the new Samsung . I had Roku and Samsung engineers trying to make it work but they couldn't. Put it on an older tv, works great. It's a good model but when you can't make use of some of its advertised features it's overkill and a waste of money. For basic viewing the cheapest Roku is still the best.

he Roku Ultra can access more TV shows and movies in 4K and HDR than most rival devices. It has the most features of any Roku streamer, and unlike the Chromecast Ultra it actually includes a remote (and an Amazon Video app). Roku's ecosystem offers more apps, better search and more customization than any other. The optical audio output means you can use it with older receivers and sound bars.

Purchased to replace expensive satellite service. Chose provider (Sling tv) and then the Roku. Like the NetFlix interface better than my smart tv and Apple tv. Really like the remote.

This thing is easier to navigate than any other smart device that has apps. I️ use it mostly for my spectrum cable and it’s easier than the actual box.

The Roku Ultra is a far improvement over its earlier version Roku 4. No noisy fan, Very little heat. The Roku Ultra is hooked up to my 8 year old, Sony 46 inch XBR TV it has improved the TV picture. Switches so easily from Netflix to Amazon Prime to Pandora. Searching is with voice command. This is much easier than searching by one letter at a time. It is not cheap, but worth having!

roku is very easy to use and updates it self automatic. you can do i think almost any thing on the roku that you can do on other streaming units.

I eliminated cable recently and purchased this device. It works well and gives me lots of options. Learning the remote control was the hardest thing, but no problems now.

I upgraded an older Roku, and wow am I glad I did. Very happy with Roku products and have been using them for years. I use three in my home.

I've had problems with an early version of Chromcast, but I'm quite pleased with the smooth performance of the Roku stick for the most part.

This Roku is the best!! I have a lot of streaming devices, but this is by far my favorite! My favorite part is that is has a remote finder.

These are absolutely wonderful to get streaming capabilities on my non smart tv. So simple to use and reasonably priced! Would recommend!!

Just upgraded to tge best Roku and its fast. Only issue is it occasionally loses connection to wifi long enough to have to restart it but that could be on my end.

Just bought a 4K TV and receiver that accommodates 4K-compliant devices, so upgraded my Roku to this version at the same time. Streams 4K content beautifully and fast (I have a 300 mb/s internet connection, however). Have been a Roku user from the early days. Think this one will last for a while (hopefully), or at least until the 'new, new' thing comes along (5K?).

I loved this Roku. Easy to use and we get everything we want to watch. My 16 year old and 8 year old can even use it without a problem.
