First time watching it, I’d only seen the remake at that point. The original has a far better story. The scream factory 4k looks great.

Great old school action movie. Skip the awful remake.

This flick is one of my faves, especially seeing as I prefer the 70's/80's era of movies (the remake is nowhere as good, IMO). This is one of James Caan's best. However, I received the wrong version of this item (or the title description is incorrect). But Best Buy made it right. Let me explain: I ordered Rollerball with a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray "AND" a Blu-ray in the title. However, what I received in the mail only has the 4k Ultra Blu-ray included, but with no Blu-ray. This is a problem for me as I do not have a 4k Blu-ray player (yet). So, having a 1080p Blu-ray disc would've held me over will the UHD players are on a deep sale. So, be aware, this version I ordered here ONLY comes with an Ultra HD Blu-ray, no normal 1080p one.

well, we’re basically living it now aren’t we? so, I’d say it was fairly accurate. I felt terrible for the fireballer trees. Don’t bother with the remake. Don’t bother with most remakes, especially the Day the Earth Stood Still. There’s a bad place waiting for those responsible for that one.

James Caan stars as a player in a futuristic sport called Rollerball. The movie looks and sounds good for a 1975 movie on 4K UHD. James had some memorable movies in his career including 1990's MISERY and 1996's ERASURE with Arnold Schwarzenegger. I do recommend this one!

Amazing 4k transfer. The picture and sound are top notch. You can feel every hit and see every bruise, cut and gash. If you lover RollerBall then this is the way to see it.

Good edition by Shout. Just too bad they couldn't have included a standard Blu-ray in the package.

Been waiting for this movie to come out on blu ray for the longest time. Finally, and a 4K remaster too. The wait was worth it. The film is a mixed bag to some, but the Rollerball matches are so exiting to watch that it overlooks everything else. Besides, it's also a visually striking movie. The 4K image is nicely rendered here, and the audio really stands out, especially the 5.1 format. The standard 2.0 is a bit too soft. This is a must own folks.

Good movie from back in the day, James Caan was a good actor always liked his movies.

Rollerball with a sadistic bent and a story of gladiators in the future.

Amazing transfer, storyline still relevant today. Smart film.
