    It was a nightmare to activate and be prepared to show your receipt to Rosetta stone as they will not activate until you email or fax it to them. I like the concept and I like that it is somewhat a game to learn. I am guessing meanings as they do not have translations while using it. I hope I am not guessing wrong as it defeats the purpose of studying. I would recommend it to try but would warn friends of some of the difficulties before doing so.

    Rosetta Stone makes learning a new language fun and easy. My kids are learning in school and I wanted to learn with them so they do not talk behind my back.

    I was expecting to learn key words, and piece sentences together, but this product starts with full sentences and just changes words out. Not sure how effective it is, not a lot of time with it.

    At first I was a little reluctant to try to learn it. As I get more involved it's really turning out to be much better and feel more confident each time I access the software.
