I have always liked the learning methods (and variety of them) Rosetta Stone uses in their software. I have seen them before through friends, but this was my first purchase of their product. I am very familiar with the Greek Language, having spent years there as a young man, but lack of use for many years left me wanting to use this language again for an upcoming trip. This was perfect. The words spoken (that they teach) are as real as if I was there. The speech recognition really helps you to learn how to say words and phrases correctly, with their pronunciation - just like a local. For anyone wanting to purchase this product, you need to understand that It is hard work to learn a new language, and you have to commit many hours/days/months to let it all be absorbed, however, this product makes it much easier. As someone who knows Greek well, I highly recommend this product - and I would purchase the same brand if I wanted to learn another language.

My wife is learning greek and has been progressing nicely. How long before she can conduct a conversation only time and practice will tell

If you want to learn a language with the most ease I highly recommend this. Just remember that it isn't magic so please put in the effort.
