This is the only air purifier that can remove formaldehyde. Easy to set up and very quiet. Great addition to new born room.

Bought this because I looked at all the other purifiers and either they are noisy, shoddily made, some offbrand company that may not survive, or some company that gouges you on filters. This seemed to be a good compromise and my Rowenta oven is built like a brick house, so figured the brand is worth something. Also like the formaldehyde filter as I bought this purifier while renovating house - so all the floating dust, formaldehyde from paint, adhesives, etc will have a place to go. I know you can open windows but that's not always an option in the winter in Michigan. This baby is quiet, filters snap in solidly and seal and replacements are reasonable. So far, so good. In night mode you can't even hear it running...

I have horrible asthma/allegies, made worse by my awful neighbors who use extremely strong smelling chemicals that I can often smell through the walls. 3 times this summer I almost ended up in the ER due to breathing issues when I was inhaling the chemical smell coming from next door. I read about the Rowenta Air purifier and it seemed like it was a really good option for me. I bought it and was amazed that every time I started noticing the chemical smell from the neighbor, the unit kicked into high gear, the sensor light turned red, and within minutes the smell disappeared. Before the Rowenta, once I smelled the chemicals, it would linger for hours and sometimes all night, and leaving windows open made the smell worse and also made my allergies worse! Since getting the Rowenta I have had almost no allergy issues and my place does not smell like toxic fumes anymore! I was so pleased I ended up buying a second one, so now there is one in my bedroom and one in the living room. The other night we had a planned electric outage so I was without the purifier for a night - I woke up with puffy, itchy eyes, and all stuffed up with allergy symptoms. I was amazed that there as such a massive difference in just one night without my Rowenta. This thing has been lifesaver for me. Totally worth the price and the cost of replacement filters. I can't imagine not having it now! I would recommend it to anyone with allergies or moronic neighbors who somehow think spraying all sorts of noxious chemicals is healthy! Also, the unit is small and stable, and easy to move. And in high mode you can hear it, but its more like a white noise - it doesn't bother me at all, and in low mode you can barely hear it at all.

I am allergic to cats. We have two cats and this product has helped keep the dander and odor away. Improved my breathing tremendously. My two young daughters are happy because now we don't have to find the cats a new home.

Thought it would be complicated to setup out of the box since it had a few pieces that needed to be put together. But I did follow the instructions and was able to plugin in less than 10 minutes. Once working I set it to a high intensity setting and noticed the change in color on the air filter display. Left it running for a few hours and it did the job, I could feel and breath easier without the toxins from our next door neighbor's re glazed bathtub.

I really love this air purifier. It is not very loud and it has an awesome feature that determines the air pollution level in the area! Now I just need to purchase the larger one so that I can keep it in my living room as well. This model is really only meant for bedrooms or smaller living areas.

Easy set up, works great pulled a lot of water, never over flowed. My only complaint is the bucket the water is drained into does not have an easy no drop spout. Very minor and they all seem to be designed with similar product design defect

This is very quiet and works great. I like seeing the color change when the air is purified.

Super easy to assemble, set up, and maintain. Quiet and works as a nightlight as well.

Within 1 hour I could feel a big difference in the air in the room...dog dander was gone! When 1 of the dogs shake near the purifier, it immediately turns up higher to clean the air of dander, hair and dust.

After only having this purifier a few weeks, we like it overall. It changes colors making us believe the air is changing good or bad. There is a low sound which we like. Not positive if it's helping our son or not yet.

This air purifier has been a blessing during allergy season and also when I cook. I can't believe how well it works. It goes on high when it detects odors or allergens. We would buy another in a minute. Love it

This air purifier really does clean the air of dust and PET HAIR! When I clean the filter, you can see all the dust and pet hair it has collected.

I still had allergies. It didn't seem to help at all. For the price I would think I would notice a difference but no.

I bought this a few weeks ago. This warm winter was great, but both my wife and I were sleeping badly and kept coughing. Someone recommended an air purifier, so I went to check them out. My wife swears by her Rowenta iron, so I got this one. Very nice design, super-quiet, and most importantly, we have stopped coughing and are sleeping like babies!
