I can't believe no one has written a review of these. They are fantastic! You can check a bill in seconds, with a simple press of a button.
You get two detectors in this pack, they really are able to be used one handed, and fit easily in a small purse, or in a men's shirt pocket.
They work by using an ultraviolet light to detect the security strip that is in 5,10,20,50, & 100 dollar bills.. meaning if you receive a $1. that's been bleached & printed with a larger denomination you will know immediately that it's a fake because there will be no strip to light up. Counterfeits made from bleached $1 bills pass the marker test because they are printed on the same Treasury notes that the rest of the larger bills are..but this detector is never fooled! It's already paid for its self a few times over & I now have peace of mind when handling cash transactions.
