Any fans of the series should own this. Live action versions of anime are rarely done this well. The picture and sound quality of the bluray is also top notch

Funimation always does great work on dubbing and so on with Anime and Live action movies.This does combine the first season of the anime into a 2 hour plus movie.

I love this movie, I was child and I watched TV. This Samurai X (anime) series is same part movie. I love this great history of Samurai X.

I love the original works that this is based on. They tell the same story but with more streamlined story. The sword play is excellent!

If you ever thought anime live-action adaptations were awful (Dragonball...) then this may restore part of your faith in movie-makers doing this well. Just note this is a trilogy.

I didn't have a lot of expectations for this movie. I was pleasantly surprised when it followed as close as it did to the anime.
