Rush was one of my surprise favorites for best picture. While it falls a little short of being the best, it still delivers a exhilarating movie experience, with an unexpected gripping story line. Recommended!

I relived some formula 1 racing history, from around the world and watched the ups and downs of legend, multi champion Niki Lauda.

The racing action was well done but the filters over the scenes became distracting - contrary to popular belief the 70's were not completely washed out and drab - there was color - just like today.

The racing cinematography is very unique and beautiful. The movie has the look of the '70s but the pace and direction of a modern film. Kinetic filmmaking, and the characters are very involving.
