This is the definitive album from Megadeth, no question. Dave Mustaine had three albums and countless ex-members to perfect the sound that Megadeth conveyed on this one. From the beginning to the end every song makes you want more. This disc has been compared to Metallica's Master of Puppets and Slayer's Reign in Blood, and rightly so. All three of these discs are essentials in any metal catalog. But for some reason Megadeth's Rust has a sound unlike the others. This was the high point, my opinion, for Mustaine and Co. He had the best musicians in the bands history backing the sound that is Megadeth. It is to bad it didn't last forever. If you are looking to buy a Megadeth disc for the first time this is the one. Enjoy.

along with their second album "peace sells...But who's Buying? , Rust in Peace is considered one of the best Heavy metal albums ever made. songs such as "Holy Wars", "Hangar 18", "Five magics" and "Lucretia" truly do put the metal in thrash metal and "Dawn Patrol" puts the heavy in heavy metal. If you are looking for a great thrash metal/heavy metal album to headbang and play air guitar to Megadeth's RIP definetely is the album for YOU.

Another classic metal album remastered by the great MEGADETH. Every song in this CD is good, which is a rarity since on most albums 3 or 4 songs are usually good. "Holy Wars... & "Hanger 18" are my 2 favorites on this one. Get this one for your Metal Catalogue!

this is my favorite album by megadeth.its got a bunch of great guitar riffs and solos.you can tell they put so much effort into this album.the cover art is great also.i like that blue background.i would highly recomend this album.

This is a classic, must have for any Megadeth fan. Especially at this price! There are some amazing tracks like Rust in Piece and Holy Wars that are quintessential thrash metal
