This series got very intense very quickly, and this volume continues that trend in exciting ways

Rooster Teeth is all in on this. Just love this series and can't wait for the next volume to come out.

RWBY Season 4 is an excellent addition to the show. It shows the growth and change in the characters after the events of Season 3. It's a slower developmental season.

Volume 3 had so much action and shock, Volume 4 lacked in a lot of that, but it was great character development.

The animation is great and it had a lot of action and great mysterious

Volume 3's best move to me was upping the stakes in terms of its story. That seems to be the priority, because the animation seems to continue to suffer. The fight scenes especially just aren't as good without Monty Oum (RIP). He was a master in terms of choreographing and animating the action scenes. Whoever is in charge of those now just doesn't have the same passion and attention to detail. Other smaller moments, the animation seems to have been a afterthought.
