The Amazing Rooster Teeth Saga Continues....

Beacon was a shining sample of peace. It was a place where those who wanted to make a difference in the world could go and learn. One of a handful of such places in the world of Remnant. Lead by Headmaster Ozpin. After the events of Season 3...Beacon has fallen. All but abandoned to the encroaching Grimm. Professor Ozpin is missing, assumed dead. Humanity's grasp on peace and control in the world has been been fractured and is slipping. Team JNPR is no more after Pyrrah's sacrifice in an attempt to stop Cinder from escaping Beacon Tower. Team RWBY has splintered. Ruby now joins the remains of Team JNPR to form Team RNJR, to continue the fight against the Grimm, Cinder and other evil forces, under the watchful eyes of her Uncle Qrow. Yang, after suffering traumatic injury during the Battle of Beacon, goes into a time of self evaluation. Weiss has been taken back to Atlas by her Father, supposedly for her protection, but she quickly finds things at home are not what her Father would have her see. And then there is Blake, who feels a lot of guilt over the events in the Battle of Beacon, in particular those involving the injury to Yang. Seeking to find her own answers, and peace, she returns home to Menagerie, the 'homeland' of the Faunus. Only to find that the treachery that has taken over the once peaceful White Fang has made its way not only to Menagerie, but to her own front door. Follow 4 amazing young women, and others as well, who must face the world with everything they had known and believed in shattered. It is time to grow as individuals, and to learn to work both alone, and together with others. The story of RWBY departs the quiet area of Vale, bringing the entire of the World of Remnant finally to the forefront, along with a personal vendetta on behalf of the injured, yet more powerful, Cinder Fall. Rooster Teeth has made an excellent fantasy adventure to follow up the success of Red vs Blue. A show that features its share of comedy, drama and action. With an excellent cast and featuring updated animation production, RWBY Volume 4 will introduce you to the "rest of the story" and prepare you for world shattering confrontations yet to come. Bring your sword, some dust and a box of tissues. RWBY gets real.

Volume 3's best move to me was upping the stakes in terms of its story. That seems to be the priority, because the animation seems to continue to suffer. The fight scenes especially just aren't as good without Monty Oum (RIP). He was a master in terms of choreographing and animating the action scenes. Whoever is in charge of those now just doesn't have the same passion and attention to detail. Other smaller moments, the animation seems to have been a afterthought.

After three whole volumes in the relatively limited Poser software, RWBY finally made the move to Maya, with higher quality character models and animation, better effects, and lighting, making this volume feel like a parked increased in production value on top of the already expected increase in the quality of the acting and writing year over year.

I love RWBY and the bluray is super clear and worth the little bit extra! This season was a great addition because we get to see some backstory! I wish it would have resolved a few more things before ending, but I suppose there is only so much they can do per season. I would definitely recommend if you enjoyed the other seasons!

RWBY returns with a much more somber fourth outing. After the all-out action filling most of Season Three, Season Four focuses on the relationships/ personalities of characters we know and new ones we only just meet. What action is there is brilliantly animated, as befits the series.

The show it self is something that anyone should watch. The production value of each season varies however each season gets better and better. The menu of the Blu ray has some truly beautiful artwork. Worth a watch online and then a purchase if one likes it.

RWBY was great. Great animation, improved art style, fantastic music, and enjoyable voice work. The only thing missing was the cast commentary that was in the last 3 volumes. There is still a crew and director commentary but I miss the cast commentary.

Following Ruby and her adventure its was good to see new villains and how far these villains are really ready to go to get what they want. With a new drawing style, rooster teeth really is stepping up there game.
