    Instructions are vague, you peel off the plastic on both sides and you have to separate the outer case from the black trim. You put your iPod in the black trim and then when they're together you put that inside of the outer case whichever color that may be.

    Love this case. Once you get it open, it assembles easily. So far, very pleased with the construction and build of this case. Best part, no separate screen cover required. The touch operates like there is no screen cover over it.

    Awesome the grandkids love them. I didn’t read the description well but was pleasantly surprised to see the hip clip. My 4 and 2 year old really think their IPods are phones now.

    The product arrived with a crack in the front screen protector where the home button is. If the front screen protector was thicker, I imagine it would have came in one piece. The rest of the case seems sturdy, so I might just buy a separate screen protector later. This is disappointing for the price.

    Volume controls are too stiff and arbitrarily increase or decrease sound levels. But it does provide a degree of protection.
