So now I have the complete 1st season!!! So happy!!

I've loved Sailor Moon since it first came to the U.S. back in '95! I still have some of the older DVDs as well (the original English dub by DiC) I've been wanting to get the whole series in its original uncut glory for years now so when I saw that they were re-dubbing & re-releasing the complete series on Blu-Ray /DVD I was ecstatic! I already ordered part 1 awhile ago & decided it was time to complete the season & I'm glad I did! I also got a killer price for the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack ($19.99) so that was awesome as well (thanks best buy)! I can't wait to complete the series, especially the last season which was never officially released in the U.S. before (especially in HD quality) Next I'm ordering season 2 part 1 & 2 then waiting for Sailor Moon S (season 3) part 1! ^_^

Dic/Cloverway dubs from the 90's/early 2000's. However, this dub is much more faithful to the original Japanese material, and it does have a vibrant life of it's own. The dic dub and it's VA's will always hold a special place in my heart, and you can hear them serving as inspiration for the new performers, but these new VA's, and this new dub has a life and identity of it's own. You CAN love both dubs at the same time.

I have been an avid fan of Sailor Moon for nearly two decades. I have waited so long for an uncut version that is faithful to the Japanese original and here it is! I love everything about it: the pictures, the sounds, and even the English dub sounds great (though I am more interested in watching it in Japanese with subtitles). I am so happy! This release does NOT deserve any of these negative reviews.

Sailor Moon is light-hearted, good-spirited, and campy. This set completes the first season of the original anime series from the 1990s. The quality of audio, video, and packaging are good. The wrap up to the season is pretty exciting, and builds a lot of tension for the characters. Note that this product is a re-dubbed re-release by Funimation. The new voice actors are a bit different, but evidently they are hewing closer to the original Japanese for meaning, which is interesting. They seem to be getting a bit better as the season goes on.

The battle of the Sailor Guardians against the forces of The Dark Kingdom comes to an exciting climax in part two of this Blu-Ray/DVD set of Sailor Moon. The biggest battles, best moments and the final fight against evil are all here with a fresh English dub, a return to the series' Japanese roots and a HD visual update. This childhood classic has never looked so good, so prepare to transform! Moon Prism Power, Make Up!

Beautiful packaging and nice extras along with a great new dub by Viz. Did not give 5 stars because the video quality is sub par. I don't know if Viz just got really bad masters or what but in making these HD almost all detail has been washed away and hard core interlacing is apparent on the master. For video quality the Madman DVD releases are the best as they use the superior Italian masters and they have the same Viz audio dub tracks (just not in as high of quality). As a collector I have both.

Well, here's the 2nd half of this set, more like the 1st half, its alright in most aspects and everything. Though some people might mention some of the issues that went on from the 1st half to the second. But I don't mind issues like that as long as the series is good enough for me. Anyways, waiting on the rest of the seasons of this series, and hoping the quality on those to be up to standard.

This is my first love to anime yes it was this girl back in the 90's fighting evil by moon light win love by daylight never running from a real fight she is the one name Sailor Moon love it and always will I I'm a guy so don't be a shame of what you grow up with what you have a passion for you viz keep up the good work

Introduces the last two sailor guardians and the climatic battle with the dark kingdom. The video is 4:3 aspect ratio and not the 16:9 remastered that the japanese version will be have in the coming months. All and all if youre a fan and want to see the series uncut then this is a must buy.

Cant at all whatsoever be upset with these series. Love each and every episode. All the sailor scouts have their very own unique personality and that's what makes me love it more and more. Have told many about this show and all have came back loving it as much as I have.

A must buy for all Sailor Moon fans. Blu Ray brings out the best of this Legendary and most Loved Anime series. This new English version does the series proud. This set will be a delight for all new fans of the series. I can't wait to buy and watch the other 4 seasons.

It's the second half of the first series of this 90's throwback, only it's been awesomely redub and uncut in a beautiful HD format. For fans of the series, it's comes in the highest recommendation.

So there has been plenty of online reviews regarding the picture quality - yes, Viz could do better with the rendering, at times it can feel like the bluray is wasted on DVD quality. But overall I guess it's still passable. And I just can't turn down Sailor Moon!

Gotta love sailor moon!!! One of my childhood favorite and even still now as an adult!! Doesn’t get better than this!

Had a issue buying this elsewhere where it kept showing up broken. Bought it at best buy and it showed up in excellent condition.

The picture quality is probably the best that sailormoon will ever realistically look. Sounds vastly better than the hollow Blu box dvds. The only issue is sailormoon is still one of the most over priced anime there is. Around $50 to $70 for only a half season.

They have done a great job of upgrading the animation for HD quality. Would recommend for anyone looking to buy Sailor Moon for the first time, those of you who already own the first season may not see a great benefit for buying the Blu Ray.

The first release of the series was great. Many complained that it was t the DIC version but this comes really close and is hard to tell. Great quality and great for the collectors

Yepp...pure awesome. And having it on Blu Ray is even better!!! I like having it on both formats, my daughter can take the dvd version with her on long road trips
