Too bad Nell123 didn't post a review sooner. I wouldn't have bought this had I known it was plastic on the inside. Despite my worries that it would give off a plastic taste to the water, the plastic doesn't seem to affect the taste. Regardless, I'm still skeptical as to how safe plastic in boiling water is. I've kept it and boiled about six or seven kettlefuls with it, so I'll say it seems relatively safe. I've seen other reviews about other plastic kettles tasting fine for the first boil but subsequent boils tasting like plastic; this isn't like that. Besides the plastic, it doesn't have a lip to hold a tea ball, which is fairly annoying since I bought this specifically to make tea. I made a makeshift hook out of a twist tie around the handle to hook the tea ball onto, so aside from being supremely tacky, it's a nice working product. Overall, for the $20 I spent on this, it suits my needs at a cheap price. If I was going to do it all over again though, I'd probably buy glass or maybe metal and spend the extra 10-20 for it.

Boils water fast. Just like it should. Turns off auto magically.

This Electric Kettle boils the water so fast I was honestly amazed by the speed. Another great feature is you can put the Kettle on the base in any direction which is great for tight spaces as well as being able to hide the cord within the base. Excellent product.

I really liked how this kettle looked - fits great into my modern kitchen. Its also very fast and so quiet when it boils! i really like those features.

I love this hot pot. Heats up water very quick and automatically shuts itself off when it starts boiling. Sits on a plugged in base so the pot itself is cordless. I want to get another one for my camper!

Easy to use and very handy. You'll need it for tea or hot water for a coffee press or for anything that requires hot water fast! I would have gone with a more familiar brand for small appliances (Oster, Cuisinart, Black and Decker, etc) but this was excellently priced.

The kettle is easy to use and fits our needs. We just needed a tea kettle to heat water for tea or coffee instead of our old fashioned one. It heats up so much quicker than the one one the range. No problems so far.
