Upgraded from a Blue Yeti to this. Friends on discord noticed immediately and complimented how well I sounded after swapping between microphones. Crisp quality and sturdy build. Future proof thanks to the optional XLR interface as well as the USB C port

All I can say is wow! I absolutely amazed by this versital mic. It's amazing as a usb mic. It's a dynamic mic so you have to talk close to it. But it doesn't pick up other sounds in your room. I needed that because of my loud pc fans that everyone said the could hear.

    Premium feel microphone that underwhelms

Note: I only used this microphone in the XLR connection and not USB so move on if you're looking for info on USB functions. I had been trying different microphones for use with my mixer set up to use with my computer and Xbox. I started out with a basic dynamic microphone from Behringer, the XM8500, but i was looking for a little more broadcaster style and sound. I tried this microphone because it was on sale. When i opened the microphone, it was heavy but felt really quality in your hand. My microphone boom arm had a hard time holding it up but it looked great and had a premium feel to it. Now for sound quality, I'm not one of those kind of audiofiles who has a lot of stats and numbers about performance, I'll leave that it others. But i wasn't pleased at this microphone's ability to pick up my voice without being positioned perfectly. When i had it in position, it sounded better then my XM8500 but it should as it costs way more, but it didn't have a nice balanced mid range that i like. The sound was more amplified in the higher frequency and almost like i was talking in a large room. I have a nasal voice so i hate how it sounded in this range. The next major problem i had was with an item desk noises, no noises and especially the installed mute button. So much is picked up by this microphone (I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any kind of sound damping like Shure microphone's do but i can't remember). It wasn't usable in my set up because of this. In the end, i returned it and went with a Shure MV7 which is a little more when not on sale but sounds sooo much nicer for my preference and has better damping to reduce touch noises. If you're going for something for talking or gaming, i can t recommend this microphone.

Great beginner mic, especially when it’s on sale. I purchased this for $100 and it blows everything out of the water in the 100-250 price range.

Please read this entirely... When it works, it works very well! Having the ability to upgrade to an XLR setup in the future is a huge plus and was partly the reason for picking it up. Do not just get this microphone for discord though. Its marginally better than a decent 60$ mic for specifically that probably due to discord compression Everything else is crystal clear. Great clarity without having to spend $400 on a Rode mic. So why the 3 stars? First one broke under a year. Hissing noise and could barely hear my voice. Changed the usb-c cable, removed any possible object that could cause interference, reinstalled my audio drivers, used it on two other PCs and same issue. Thankfully I bought Geek Squad protection so I could get it replaced and reordered faster. There is a manufacturing warranty, but I did not want to wait so long to get in a replacement as I had meetings coming up. With that said, I still recommend this microphone as something in between the Rode line and the cheaper headset or desktop mics. While it also sounds great in games, it is overkill unless you stream, make videos, or do podcasts.

Amazing quality mic. My friend's Shure SM7B and this are nearly identical in audio quality using XLR. The foam that comes with the mic dampens a lot of sound, unfortunately even voices. I recommend getting a softer, thinner foam than the included one. In addition, the microphone doesn't come with any sort of stand or arm, so ensure you get a compatible one for use with the microphone.

What’s great about this mic is that it’s a dynamic mic that can be run through usb, which is extremely rare. The advantage of dynamic mics like this are that they reject noise way better than condenser mics, which most usb mics are. That said, this mic does a great job in sound capture while rejecting outside noise, making it great in less than quiet environments compared to other usb mics. This mic also has an XLR port, giving you the option upgrade your audio to that level if you want, but if not, you can always just stick to usb.

Works very good as a podcast mic. I tried with singing but it wasn’t very good at all. Sounded like the Vocals were to compressed. I am happy using it as mainly a podcast mic and may use it for video info voice overs. Not sure it would be all that great for voice acting. Very easy to use. Plugged in and worked right away on my dell laptop. Has some weight abd feels like quality.

Great microphone. Easy to get going with minimal post processing needed. It can be quite sensitive without a treated room so be aware of noise in your surroundings. Docking a star over the usb c cable it comes with being kind of crummy.

The good. Super Heavy, built like a tank. Looks Great. Sound is very good. Not so good. The mute button is very flimsy and gives no indication if the mic is on or off.
