For the price, the quality of this mic is absolutely phenomenal. It has a solid, well-built feel, the XLR and USB outputs both work great, the sound quality is *chef's kiss* (especially for the price point), and configuring it is a breeze. Totally recommended.

Upgraded from a Blue Yeti to this. Friends on discord noticed immediately and complimented how well I sounded after swapping between microphones. Crisp quality and sturdy build. Future proof thanks to the optional XLR interface as well as the USB C port

Great microphone. Easy to get going with minimal post processing needed. It can be quite sensitive without a treated room so be aware of noise in your surroundings. Docking a star over the usb c cable it comes with being kind of crummy.

Note: I only used this microphone in the XLR connection and not USB so move on if you're looking for info on USB functions. I had been trying different microphones for use with my mixer set up to use with my computer and Xbox. I started out with a basic dynamic microphone from Behringer, the XM8500, but i was looking for a little more broadcaster style and sound. I tried this microphone because it was on sale. When i opened the microphone, it was heavy but felt really quality in your hand. My microphone boom arm had a hard time holding it up but it looked great and had a premium feel to it. Now for sound quality, I'm not one of those kind of audiofiles who has a lot of stats and numbers about performance, I'll leave that it others. But i wasn't pleased at this microphone's ability to pick up my voice without being positioned perfectly. When i had it in position, it sounded better then my XM8500 but it should as it costs way more, but it didn't have a nice balanced mid range that i like. The sound was more amplified in the higher frequency and almost like i was talking in a large room. I have a nasal voice so i hate how it sounded in this range. The next major problem i had was with an item desk noises, no noises and especially the installed mute button. So much is picked up by this microphone (I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any kind of sound damping like Shure microphone's do but i can't remember). It wasn't usable in my set up because of this. In the end, i returned it and went with a Shure MV7 which is a little more when not on sale but sounds sooo much nicer for my preference and has better damping to reduce touch noises. If you're going for something for talking or gaming, i can t recommend this microphone.

Can't beat it for the price! It is built like a tank. The flexibility to use it with an XLR or USB-C is great. Looks fantastic and sounds incredible.

Great beginner mic, especially when it’s on sale. I purchased this for $100 and it blows everything out of the water in the 100-250 price range.

Amazing quality mic. My friend's Shure SM7B and this are nearly identical in audio quality using XLR. The foam that comes with the mic dampens a lot of sound, unfortunately even voices. I recommend getting a softer, thinner foam than the included one. In addition, the microphone doesn't come with any sort of stand or arm, so ensure you get a compatible one for use with the microphone.

What’s great about this mic is that it’s a dynamic mic that can be run through usb, which is extremely rare. The advantage of dynamic mics like this are that they reject noise way better than condenser mics, which most usb mics are. That said, this mic does a great job in sound capture while rejecting outside noise, making it great in less than quiet environments compared to other usb mics. This mic also has an XLR port, giving you the option upgrade your audio to that level if you want, but if not, you can always just stick to usb.

I own a Røde Procaster and love it. I needed a second microphone for another location and as much as I live my Procaster, I couldn’t justify the cost of the mic and an XLR-USB conversion solution. I found this mic reasonably priced **and** it includes both USB and XLR outputs, which means I can use it with a PC out of the box with no additional cost and later use it with my XLR equipment. The mic has a solid build quality and a good sound. It’s a great, flexible value.

If you are starting out on YouTube or streaming and don't want to spend the money on an audio interface and xlr microphone. This is a great option. You can use the USB interface (which works very well) and than later on down the road when you feel it's time to upgrade you can use the same mic making it less "disposable". Great purchase and wish I bought this instead of the elgato wave 3 when I did

Its a crisp clear mic I used it on a few tests to record my wife It was a nice mic but I ended up putting it next to a rode podcaster pro mic and went with the rode I would go as far as to say this is a great mic with the usb option and xls as well it would be a better choice if you needed both as for rode mics you have to pick one or the other

Extremely flat response. Great for pretty much any situation where articulation or basic voice delivery is paramount. Probably less important for gaming, but it’s definitely a plus. It’s not a cheap mic, but it definitely outperforms its price range. One thing to note is it doesn’t come with any software, EQ or otherwise.

All I can say is wow! I absolutely amazed by this versital mic. It's amazing as a usb mic. It's a dynamic mic so you have to talk close to it. But it doesn't pick up other sounds in your room. I needed that because of my loud pc fans that everyone said the could hear.

I’m loving this mic for live streaming vocal! I love the fact that it has several ways to connect to an daw interface or computer! For live, I connect directly to my iMac and the sound is great!
