I keep my Alienware x17 in this case and it’s a perfect fit. I have the big laptop. It holds my laptop battery, and cords that I need. Definitely enough space. Simple but effective. I would recommend this to my friends.

I needed a briefcase to take my laptops on trips. I travel with family on vacations, and did just needed something to travel with my laptop. This will easily fit a 17.3 laptop with no issue. It has various compartments for paperwork, or any other items you need to take along. Great thing if you are traveling this counts as a personal item, and wont count as a carry on.

I’m in and out of hotels and retail establishments daily and this bag is perfect for on the go. It’s light wait but very rugged. Nice zippers and strong stitching.

I have a brand new HP Pavilion Laptop with a 17.3" screen display and finding a laptop bag/carry case big enough to accommodate my laptop WAS NOT an easy task! There were only 2 options that were capable of accommodating my 17.3" screen: a) a large "purse-style" bag about the size of an extra large beach bag and available only in loud and obnoxious colors, and b) a "student-style" backpack with a built-in pocket/sleeve in which to slide your laptop with a Velcro strap across the top of the sleeve to secure your laptop into the sleeve. While these options may be perfect for some people, neither option was right for me. I already carry a purse which is approximately "medium sized" every day, everywhere I go (and because my purse contains almost anything one might need when away from home, it has a fairly hefty weight to it), so the last thing I want to do is to carry around a second purse which is even bigger (a lot bigger) everyday. Especially one that is obnoxiously colored. Additionally, there is very little to no padding in this style of bag with which to protect your laptop. For these reasons, this option wasn't for me. The other option ("student-style" backpack) was somewhat better but still not really the right option for me. It was high quality and the backpack itself was water resistant. There were 2 main compartments in the backpack. The zippered compartment in the back half had a sewn-in padded sleeve in which to slide your laptop with a Velcro strap to secure across the top of your laptop to ensure that it wouldn't be moving around inside the backpack or fall out if the backpack if it were fall over while opened/unzipped. Then the zippered compartment in the front half of the backpack had all the components of a standard (large) student backpack including a smaller zippered pocket on the very front. While this backpack provided a little more padding than the "purse-style" bag, one of the drawbacks was that while the laptop sleeve securely held up to a 17.3" screen display, it was a tight fit. So much so that once my laptop was secured in the sleeve, the zipper was difficult to zip and the fit was so tight that the zipper scraped/scratched the top edges of my laptop. Plus, I really don't have any need or use for the front backpack portion. Both of these options are big enough to hold a 17.3" (and these 2 styles were the only options I found as it is extremely difficult to find bags big enough to hold the 17.3" screen laptop) but neither option really had what I need in a bag. After comparing these options with a sales associate, he knew that neither was really what I was looking for and he agreed that bags that hold the 17.3" screen were hard to find as he himself struggled to find one for his personal laptop of the same size. Then he said that there was 1 "messenger-style" bag that Best Buy usually carries that was big enough to hold my laptop but that it appeared as though they were out of them in the store and he offered to order one for me. I thanked him but said that I really needed something that day. He paused for a moment in thought and then said he had seen 1 or 2 of the bags in question stashed somewhere in the back where they didn't belong but that that had been the day before and he wasn't sure if they were even still there. After spending approximately 15 minutes or so looking in the back, he came back out to the sales floor where I was waiting and produced 1 "messenger-style" bag. He said that it was the last one that they had. It was professional and discreet in appearance, nicely padded for protection, had several interior and exterior pockets for accessories, a comfort padded shoulder strap and was made by a very well known brand name with a great reputation for making high quality luggage, briefcases and "messenger-style" bags. AND, it came with a 3 year warranty. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for!! I bought it right then and have used and loved it everyday since then. I have had other laptops and other bags but none of my previous bags were anywhere near the quality nor functionality of this Samsonite. If you have a 17.3" screen laptop, then this bag is a must-see. It has turned out to be everything I wanted and then some. I highly recommend it as being the very best option for this size of laptop.

I needed an inexpensive bag to hold my huge laptop computer in and found the perfect one at Best Buy. I was very surprised to find so many extra pockets to hold extras like the mouse, pad, etc. It comes with a shoulder strap or can be hand carried. I highly recommend it to anyone who has to lug their laptop around but don't want to spend a bundle on a carrying case.

Bought this with a laptop, and was really taken aback by the prices of what I can only describe as a neoprene slip cover for the laptops that is available. This bag was not only more durable, but it provides much better protection for the contents, while also being less expensive than the other options. Overall, very happy with the purchase

Very Light Weight, lots of Storage Space............Very Durable !!

I wanted to buy a laptop bag that was cheap but could protect my laptop from scratches and dents. The bag is sturdy and the hinges don't squeak like my old bag, which was more expensive. The pockets on the bag are also great, and have places to store pens and other office supplies.

I purchased this bag for my son to transport his computer and peripherals from base to base when he was starting out in the military. After two years, it's still going strong and has stood the test of time. There were a number of bags to choose from, but this one best accommodated a l5-inch laptop, mouse, headphones and cords with room to spare for some file storage. The shoulder strap is comfortable and seems to stay in place without slipping while in use. It's sturdy and well padded, something that immediately drew me to it. This was a great purchase and I'd definitely recommend it for attractive and functional storage and use.

Excellent quality...perfect size...light weight and easy to carry

Samsonite is a well known manufacturer of their luggage products and just by looking at the stitching and the zipper, I knew I found the right one for my daughter and her laptop. Well constructed, provides the best protection all around, and lightweight.

This is the perfect size for the new laptop I got for my college-bound daughter. It has enough space for the laptop and power cable as well as some notebooks and necessities. It has compartments to help keep things organized while still being compact enough to easily carry it around all day at school. It is well made and feels as though it is durable enough to last a good while.

I bought this Samsonite case to carry a 17" LG laptop. Because that laptop is only 2.5#, I wanted a lightweight case to compliment it. My favorite feature is the secure rear sleeve with velcro that fits over the handle of any roller luggage. I looked at expensive cases that did not have this feature & this was the ultimate decision maker for me. I have carried it on 3) airlines & rolled it securely down the aisle with total confidence that it is stable & will not move. The padding is awesome, while maintaining a light weight profile. I highly recommend this case. It outperforms the $300 case I considered & is built to last.

This case has worked out very well for our new laptop, which we keep in our living room most of the time. We use the case for storage and for taking it out of the house. It is well padded and is large enough to carry additional items.

I had really intended to get a bigger case, but this one fits the bill for what I need at the moment without breaking the bank. For $40, it gives me the protection I need and the case seems well built and easily accommodates the laptop easily. I also like that it is wide enough that I don't have to remove the mouse dongle every time I go to store the machine.

I needed a laptop case to go with the 17" HP notebook that I was getting ready to purchase. The case is padded and feels sturdy enough to protect the laptop in transport. The laptop fits perfectly & the front zipper pouch is roomy enough for paperwork & charging cord. Best Buy even discounted the price of this quality case since it was purchased at the same time as my laptop and printer. I'm well pleased.
