    This product is great. Word to the wise the trim kit stinks, so not the best to put into cabinets. This unit replaces the need for using the over frequently.

    We got this hoping to replace getting a second oven. We used it occasionally and it stopped working just after a year! So, at that point it was no longer under warranty.

    Died After 18 months!

    I purchased in the Fall of 2018 (11/17). After 18 months of proper use, it made loud buzzing sound and started shooting sparks & flames while microwaving simple bowl of sauce for one minute.

    Received mine yesterday 11/23/22 Turntable doesn’t rotate, Item was dented. It doesn’t work. Returning to the dealer. It looks stunning though.

    Unit delivered with glass shards between door glass. Best Buy customer service is nonexistant. Had to use Samsung repair seevice to get item repaired. Had to download user manual from web as none came with product.

    Worst purchase ever. Sounds like a lawn mower when running. No numeric touch pad, so you have to press button repeatedly to set cook time.

    Would give a 0 star if I could. It came scuffed up and scratches all over the panel. It was suppose to be brand new. And when opening the box, it looked like the box was all used…. They sold me a used item.

    It was beat up. Dented all over. It was a house warming gift for my son. Best Buy gave a discount but it’s not working right so it’s going back. It was a disco model so couldn’t order another one.

    Shuts Down After 5 Mins. Samsung Service is Awful!

    The product could not heat foods for more than 4-5 minutes without shutting down with error C-F0 (electrical problem). It worked for shorter cook times, but also heats very slowly. Same thing happened with microwave and convection. Repair tech assumes that it's a flaw in the chassis that allows steam to get into the electrical components, even with foods covered with wax paper or a microwave safe cover. Details are below, but overall, it was a total fail and Samsung was terrible to deal with. If you must buy this unit, I'd advise buying the seller's warranty, if they offer one that will allow you to return it directly to the seller (see below what happened to us). That way, you won't have to deal with Samsung when it stops working. Yes, Samsung offers a 1-year warranty, but good luck getting them to honor it. In our case, they fudged the service report of the authorized Samsung repair rep and refused to replace it or refund our money, even though we followed their instructions to the letter and were well within the 1-year warranty. HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED TO US: **We kept scrupulous documentation, so there was a happy ending but only with through Best Buy, not Samsung. --Purchased in Nov. 2016: reviews were excellent, loved the idea of a combo until to save space, and is very attractive. --First time we used microwave for more than 5 minutes (to cook a sweet potato in a bowl covered with wax paper), we got error C-F0 (electrical problem) and it stopped working. Got error C-FO (electrical problem) and then flashing lights, then dead. --Samsung manual says to unplug it and call Samsung tech support. We did. --Samsung sent an authorized Samsung technician to check it out (about a week or so after we called). --Samsung tech recreated the problem three times, then took it apart and tried to repair it. --The problem persisted, so the Samsung tech determined that the unit was not repairable. --Samsung tech reported that to Samsung and wrote the following documentation (we have a copy from Best Appliance Repair in Thousand Palms, CA (the authorized Samsung repair company in our area): “Found error code C-F0. Boiled water 3 times at 3 mins. Found steam going into upper unit. May be the issue on error code. Found issue on unit—steam is causing error code. Will call Samsung.” [I added punctuation.] --We were told by the tech and another contact at Best Appliance Repair that they reported to Samsung that the unit could not be repaired and that Samsung should authorize a full refund. --My husband spent many hours on the phone with Samsung Customer Relations and Executive Customer Relations. He documented all calls and emails. --After two months trying to get Samsung to refund our money, we got a voicemail message saying that “the unit has been repaired, is working, so we have closed the file.” --I called Best Buy Customer Service to see if they would help. --I was advised to call Samsung again, so I did and asked why our file was closed. I was also told that I could call Best Buy again if I couldn’t get anywhere with Samsung. --I asked the Samsung agent to tell me what their notes said the repair tech had said. Samsung’s notes said: “This is a no-fix. Cover foods with a lid or microwave safe plastic wrap. Allow standing time. Operating within specs. Customer education needed.” --I called Best Appliance Repair to ask if that’s what they had actually reported and was told that it was absolutely not what they’d said. She said that they’d spoken with Samsung three times and told them each time to refund us our money, that in their opinion the model is defective and cannot be repaired. She said that on the third call she was advised to tell us that if the unit only worked for 5 minutes at a time, then she should tell us to just use it for 5 minutes at a time! --So, I called Best Buy customer service again and they resolved the issue for us. After 8 months (note—it was still under warranty, so Samsung should have at least replaced it for us), we were able to swap it out for two separate units: one countertop convection oven and one microwave. We have owned Samsung products in the past, but the Samsung microwave convection oven combo was our last!! We will never buy another Samsung product unless Samsung goes through a major quality control and customer service turnaround the way Best Buy appears to have done over the past 10 years. Ironically, this experience has resulted in Samsung losing us as customers (for anything!) and allowed Best Buy to win us back.

    Positives: makes it possible to get food hot Negatives: no keypad means a lot of presses to achieve basic things, and only 30 sec increments allowed. Air fry feature is half baked. Door mechanism is not well designed. Not worth the asking price. Also somewhere along the line they must have redesigned this oven but didn't tell the department that makes the trim kit, so it doesn't fit the trim kit that was designed for it. Stick to phones, Samsung.
