Easy to use, relatively quiet and looks great with my other stainless appliances.

Really like the microwave. The only thing I wish was different was a lighted numbers/control pad on the side. When all the lights are out except the light under the microwave, I can't see the pad to turn it off. Still haven't figured out how to use the defrost and soften/melt features completely. Other than that, it's great! Looks great with our range.

The first one I received was dented badly after I waited a week for shipping. The second one was ok after waiting another week to receive. I had to buy a small microwave so the family could get through another week without a microwave. It works ok, but just as other reviews mentioned the touch pad is not very sensitive and requires a little more pressure to use. You are unable to use the timer and microwave at the same time. You also have to press start every time unlike some microwaves when the +30 seconds or quick minute buttons activate cooking immediately. Installation was pretty straight forward. I didn't expect too much given the price, but those things would be pretty easy to improve I would think from a manufacturing perspective. Overall it does the job and looks decent with my other Samsung appliances.

Low price, but average microwave, noisy ventilation fan, controls very crude. After less than 6 months the unit started overheating and then failed completely. Warranty folks said it had been damaged during shipping (even though no package damage), and they would fix, but probably not when it failed again (likely). Best Buy said too bad, it was outside their 'return window', so I am out of luck. The interior components of the microwave were so bent up the cooling fan was hitting the housing and it was overheating to the point the magnetron failed. Best Buy declined to look at pictures of the damage and then said they had no way of knowing that I didn't cause the damage! (see pics). I now have a microwave less than 6 months old that is junk. I know my situation is unique, but Best Buy didn't work to resolve at all-just quoted policy. Will never spend another dime at Best Buy after this.
