We did research and troubleshooted as best as we could. We stopped at the point of having to take apart the microwave and purchased this same model as we did like it. Had the microwave for five weeks and started having problems. The microwave would just start running (without heating), like the fan dame on. We thought it was because of the stove being hot and wanting to cool down. But then we noticed that sometimes the countdown clock would just stop. The clock would not restart if we opened the door and reshot.Best Buy did offer an exchange even though it was past the 15 day return policy. Did not want this model again, ended up spending 65.00 more for the bigger microwave. Fingers crossed it lasts.

After warranty expired I was better off buying a new one. I bought the same one so I wouldn't have to make new Holes in the tiled walls, I'm hoping this one last and the old one was just a bad unit.!!!!
