Our above the range microwave died, so we looked for a basic model to replace it. This Samsung has a nice appearance, and (surprise bonus!) it fit the wall bracket that was already in place from the old Maytag. Great price for $150. It heats food fast and evenly. The display is a sharp blue light. Easy to see. My only criticism is that the door handle feels cheap.

Quiet, sleek, perfect sizing, cleans easily and simplistic functions.

Good microwave for price. Don't feel like it is any noisier than what we had before so I am confused by those comments. I do agree that the handle feels a little cheap -- but all in all, for the money and for what we use it for (reheating), I think it's a good buy and very attractive looking.

Great heats fast nice design medium noise good price

We previously had a similar Samsung microwave that we loved. It lasted many years. We thought this one was the same. However, one big disappointment is that we cannot use the microwave to cook in and use the timer for something else at the same time. For instance, we can’t bake a cake in the conventional oven, using the microwave timer and at the same time use the microwave to cook or reheat anything. Very disappointing. Also, the microwave has started to make a strange noise after running for a few seconds, as if the tray is off, but it’s not off. Otherwise, we like it.

Honestly this should be a 5 star microwave but there is one issue that just drives me nuts. Though the whole microwave is covered in stainless steel the door handle is made out of plastic and really just feels wrong and cheapens up the whole unit. I ordered it online and paid for installation through best buy, but if I saw it in person I may have opted to buy something more expensive that didn't have a plastic handle. That said, I did get it at a good price during black Friday and the unit works really well. Just that one issue that bothers me more than it should.

I have not install the microwave, it fit perfectly in the space over my stove. I love the stainless steel, it matches my other appliances. When I install, I will write another review.

With microwaves/range hood prices hitting $600 or more this microwave was a great buy. I wasn’t looking to buy a Samsung microwave but I couldn’t pass up the price of this one. Very easy to install and works great.

Works great. I put in the package of popcorn and it makes it perfectly. Light under neath is fairly dim and the fan for the exhaust is fairly loud. But I rarely use those so not a big deal to me

It fits perfect over my oven. Because it's stainless steel it blends in nicely with my other stainless appliances. No one even notices the different name brand. Very easy to clean.

I bought this microwave to replace a black Samsung that I had for many years. This is a great looking and affordable microwave. I hope it will last as long as my last one. I recommend this one.

Great over the range microwave at a great price. It heats up our food much quicker than our old microwave (different brand) which also cost more money. This Samsung microwave is highly recommended!

The microwave is well constructed, cooks well, and has a white interior to make cleanup easier (other models had a dark interior). Install templates did not line up exactly and needed to be modified, otherwise installation was simple with 2 people. Compared to the previous GE microwave, the Samsung performs well but, the stove (bottom) light is not as bright and the buttons are move difficult to push. I would recommend this to a friend.

Does everything as advertised. It's an easy to use microwave at a great price that matches all of our other Samsung appliances. I particularly like how the glass turn table sits flush with the bottom of the microwave.

Purchased the entire Samsung kitchen package . This microwave is stainless steel and easy to use .We love everything about this microwave and it works with no issues. The design is sleek and the non smudge stainless steel is fantastic.

Ok bought a similar microwave to replace an existing microwave I bought about 5 years prior to this one. The microwave had issues with the stove fan, where it sounded like it was grinding metal when turned on so we never used the stove top fan. And then the microwave would turn on and rotate whenever we opened the door. Yikes, we were afraid of any radiation leak. So I opted for a similar brand and size so installation would be simple. And it was, they were able to use all the same brackets and installation was a breeze. I definitely recommend professional installation for microwaves. Let's just hope this samsung microwave lasts longer than the last.
