A good microwave. Wanted a black and always trust Samsung quality. Works great including stove light and fan

Bought this as an open box item and have loved it since. Not one single problem.

I like this product too much. it is very economical.

I have had high expectations for samsung brand, but it has let me down several times. The microwave is just ok, I would not have bought if not for the cheap price .

We should have shopped better and looked at more items, but it's hard when shopping online to tell if what you are buying is of quality or cheap. We bought cheap, thinking quality would be there, being it was from Best Buy.

Pros: 1. Maybe it's because my previous microwave was dated, but I really love how this looks in our kitchen. 2. It was relatively easy to install, meaning the steps were simple enough but it was a time consuming process. I have no regrets installing it myself and saving the $119 though. 3. It operates quietly and warms things up evenly/well. Cons: 1. Package was missing a filter and best buy was next to no help in getting a replacement (I had already installed it by the time I realized I was short; their initial suggestion was that I take it off of the wall, re-pack it and bring it in for an exchange. When I balked they insisted I drive back to the store in person and buy a new one. I ended up ordering one online from another vendor). 2. The buttons don't work well, we are constantly pressing them then re-pressing or pressing with an unusual amount of force them to get them to work.

I bought this microwave because I wanted the sensor reheat functoin and in the process, I figured I might as well clear some countertop space and buy an OTR. For the microwave, it works great! I am still adjusting to all the buttons and the options. My sensor reheat is great. Warms things up perfectly. I am very satisfied. I haven't given up my old microwave yet just in case, but it's easing its way to storage. My only issues are the venting and the light. The microwave was set automatically to vent inside. It's a little weird. I never had an OTR microwave so I wasn't sure if that is normal. The inside venting is also a very loud! It also gets very hot in my house with it on. My contractor had to come back and take it down, turn the fan and reinstall it to vent outside. It's much quieter now. Thank goodness. I also wish the light above the stove was brighter. I cook during the day and use the OTR light . I need a little more light for my needs. The over head kitchen light is too bright for me. As I said, this is personal opinion for my needs. It may be great for someone else.

Replaced an older Samsung (about 11 years). The install was a snap since this unit fit perfectly with the older hardware already in place. I lucked out. If I had to install from scratch, the install directions and templates would not be very easy to use, otherwise this oven is very good quality. I agree the manual could be of higher quality and more informative. I can't find the part # for a future replacement carbon air filter.

Had to replace an old microwave and this model fit perfectly in old space. Measurements were exact and perfect. Read all online reviews of all models prior to buying. Very happy with my purchase.

This microwave is junk. Installed by dealer Sept. 2015 and "fried out" on Nov. 29, 2015. For 2 weeks prior to "dying," it had been shutting on & off with completely blank screen. Final blow was the light dimmed and a sizzling like the sound of high voltage wires was heard. We unplugged immediately. Called Samsung and the appliance repair shop they assigned to us has been impossible to work with. Don't return phone calls. Now saying we have to physically remove it before they come out. We are elderly & physically unable to do that. They say they have to take pictures, etc. and get Samsung approval, etc. Just complete runaround. We purchased a new Samsung Showcase refrigerator and Samsung range at same time. So far they work. This is very disappointing. Don't purchase the microwave.

Had about year and a half. Control pad started malfuntioning, light would come on and off by itself.now display just reads Se code and will not work at all. When checking google seams like a problem a lot of people are having.called samsung and they will not stand behind their product!want me to pay 306.00 dollars for service plan. More than microwave cost. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!

Talked with repairman about this model and he said there have been numerous complaints after about 1 or 2 years of use. It shuts down by itself and leaves you with an error message of 5E and nobody I've talked with from Samsung could tell me exactly what this means. Everyone tells me the same thing ....unplug for 30 seconds and after I did this multiple times it still does not respond. Also, Samsung is very little help with resolving this issue. After talking with 3 reps from Samsung and chatting online with another, I still would have to wait for a supervisor to call me. The service tech said Samsung was extending the warranty on this model and repairing it without cost. But the Samsung reps said my model# does not match up to this problem. I am totally frustrated with this piece of junk and would NOT recommend it to my worst enemies.

The keyboard does not work. I called Samsung & they were not helpful at all. Does not work on top of the stove.
