The control panel is confusing and the Owner's Manual, which must be downloaded, doesn't help much. The Timer beeps only 3 times and if you aren't very close to the oven you'll never know the Timer has beeped. Overall it's a pretty good unit though!

Install fairly straightforward. One thing I don't like is that if you are cooking in the microwave you can't set a timer, and if you have a timer going you can't start cooking until you cancel the timer or it is done.

This is also one of those models that does not force you to take a step back when you open the door, which I tried to avoid because I don't like the feeling of the door almost hitting my face when I open it. Venting is not as strong as I'd liked it to be, yet it's already 400 cfm. Everything else is good so far.

Good over the range microwave

Works well basic features that we wanted; fan, good size turntable. However, turn table stopped working after six months. Samsung said no repairmen in area so authorized exchange (just needed new plastic part). Best Buy promptly delivered new microwave.

It has multiple settings that you can utilize, For instance, the ones I use the most are: the timer, defrost, soften, and keep warn settings. There are also settings for: popcorn, potato, pizza and vegetables. as well as a reheat setting. The feature I like the best is the inside is dark like a large stove oven and not white. All of the white ones I have had seem to be dirty all of the time. this one doesn't,

It is very attractive. I love the stainless steel interior. The cooking temperatures seems a little lower than my previous Whirlpool, but I am not certain if the two are the same wattage. While this microwave offers many options for cooking, the choices are a little confusing.

The negative that I have found is that the buttons are difficult to engage and you can't use the microwave if your using its kitchen timer. That was a disappointment.

It has a ceramic interior with a wire rack that fits in the middle should you need to use two levels when cooking. It is very easy to use and has a very good venting fan (this is an over the range version).
