After a year of use the door handle snapped off. Not the end of the world since we could pull it open from the bottom lip but now the sensor has gone too. Less than 3 years of use!

We did our research and after much deliberation we chose the Samsung 1.8 model: ME18H704SFS . Some reviews talk about the buttons being hard to press...not at all. Our previous OTR Microwave was a Fridgidaire and the buttons didn't require any more or less pressure. The 400 CFM fans in the Samsung works well. Follow the instructions carefully to determine how your microwave exhaust will be used. Ours recirculates back into the house. To do this you have to reposition the fans prior to the install. Remove 3 screws, lift and rotate the fans 90 degrees, reinstall and your'e done with setting it up for recirculation. There are 4 settings and all of them work great. The templates supplied were dead on. I followed all the instructions to a T and had no issues with the install. Infact, my wife and I took about 2 hours to complete the task. That time includes running to a hardware store for the mounting hardward....wasn't included in our box but Best Buy refunded us a percentage to off set the costs. (Outstanding customer service!, Thank You BEST BUY) The interior is so easy to clean. It's not the typical white plastic interior. It looks like the interior of our Samsung smooth top oven interior. Looks nice and easy to clean. We removed the interior tray because we don't like the inside divided into two small compartments. The lights on the bottom of the microwave are bright and they light up the smooth top stove. The filters on the bottom are easily installed and so is the charcoal filter. All in all, after following the installation instructions and after a few days of use, we are extremely happy with our purchase.

Installed pretty easily. Instructions are a little poor if you've never installed one before. Operating instructions that came in the box are very poor. Download the manual from Samsung instead. Removal of the grill to install the charcoal filter was tricky. Broke it because it wasn't clear that you have to slide it to left before removing it. Even then the grill was stiff to remove & easily damaged. Samsung did send me a new one with no problem for free. on the Plus side the sensor cooking works very well, well built, like the large turntable. Other minuses: you can't use the timer & the microwave at the same time!; Has a lot of reheat options and some of the autocook options are a little unusual for example fresh prawns. Not to likely I'll be doing those anytime soon. Overall, I would buy again but only if it is on sale for a good price.

Perfect balance of features and price. Lots of the other new models had full-width doors - way too big! This has a standard door with controls on the side. Installed quick and easy. Very easy to use. Sensor cooking works well. Wish the light controls were in a corner or backlit so they could be found in the dark, but otherwise no complaints at all!

2 years old and stopped working. Won't turn on. I checked all the fuses and wiring. Samsung wants $250 just to look at it. Garbage.

This microwave not only looks elegant, but has the performance to back it up. Thanks to a dark grey/black interior, it looks clean all the time, and it features a ton of pre-set/programmable options as well. I'm very satisfied with this microwave, and would highly recommend it.

This Samsung microwave was easy to install (even easier than normal, since the mounting hardware was the same as that of the GE microwave it replaced and I didn't have to remove the old bracket). It has quite a few features that work well. My only complaints are due to little things that just annoy me. Like when you hit the button to add 30 seconds, it doesn't immediately start the cook cycle. You still have to hit start. Also, you can't use the microwave and the kitchen timer feature at the same time. Other than little things like that, it is a good microwave that cooks well and evenly.

I focused on Samsung microwaves primarily because I had selected a Samsung stove. The installation instructions were easy to follow but you do need someone to help lift and hold. The oven is much quieter than my previous unit and it appears to be performing well. It is easy to use and has more options than I will probably ever need. Only downside for me is the touch pad - seems a little stiff so you need to be deliberate when entering a selection.

Perfect sized over the range, easy to use and figure out settings. Can cook , thaw, or reheat anything in here! Makes everything heat so evenly thanks to its high quality sensors that gauge the weight and volume of things you place inside...perfect for when I need to reheat my coffee and usually Ieither only get it to lukewarm or overflowing all over the place. Comes out perfect, very happy with this purchase!

I just installed the new Samsung microwave yesterday and everything went great. Before buying I read several reviews here and at other sites too and I saw two concerns that came up repeatedly. One concern was about the wobbly turntable many reported, so I was prepared to call Samsung for a replacement turntable if needed, but mine worked just fine. No wobble at all--even though the one I saw on display in the store did wobble. Mine says manufactured in October 2014, so looks like they have recently fixed it with either a different turntable or an improved roller ring under the turntable. The other concern I saw a couple people comment about was the installation upper template not being accurate, so I checked mine over carefully. At first I thought it was off about 3/4', but it turned out to be right on. We are very pleased with the appearance. It is very attractive and the black with stainless steel accents goes perfect with our range--even though they are not the same brand. We previously had an above the range vent-a-hood only, so this is a great way to utilize unused space above the range and make some room on the counter.

This was bought as an appliance package deal and it looks great in my kitchen and so far works very well. The bracket is easy to install with the template that comes with it and the instructions were pretty well written on how to install as well as how to change the blower depending on if its vented or not.

It is every thing we expected; It was easy to install over the range; It provide a wide range of features that we used; Excellent source of interior and under the hood lighting; Most of all it is very usher friendly to use. I plan on purchase one for my son new house. We strongly recommend this microwave to anyone.

Love this microwave! Especially because it's so easy to keep clean. I love the oven like interior, that makes dried on scapings a thing of the past. It also has built in crevice that collects boiled over messes. There is a lot of attention to detail in this one. It's a roomie oven and the controls are pretty easy to figure out(Just in case your not into reading instruction manuals, Ha!

This microwave has some great features, and is super easy to keep clean. The sensor reheat option does a great job reheating leftovers to a piping hot temperature no matter how much there is. On top of that it looks good and was easy to install. I put this one in myself. I would recommend having someone with some upper body strength to help put it in place though.

This microwave has exceeded our expectations so far. We are pleased with its performance and ease of use. It is sleek looking, and it has all the features we were looking for. I particularly like the reheat features and the sensors it uses to vary the time on those settings.

The over the range microwave is roomy and stylish. I especially like the keep warm feature. It is easy to use. I had an older version of this same microwave and was very happy with it, so I went for the updated version. On this one you have to hit the buttons just right or it occasionally doesn’t register. I also wish it had a one and two minute automatic start button. It does have a 30 second button which I do use frequently. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

My Hats off to Samsung on this microwave Great price looks great with the stainless nice lines beat most out there in that respect and enough features to satisfy one does not want for anything else.

This microwave is so much quieter than the GE that we replaced. Lots of nice features, and options. I also like that the inside is not white. Won't show the small spatters so bad. The lighting is much better with the halogen vs incandescent. This is the biggest reason that I purchased this oven. We've only had it for a three weeks, and so far, I'm liking it very much.
