Cleans easy and works great has great features and quiet

I needed a new microwave for over my stove and chose this one. The directions for iinstallation could have been a little more detailed as we did have a little trouble installing but finally figured it out. It works very good and I love how big it is inside compared to my old one. Lots of new features on this one also.

We had a Samsung oven-top microwave for the past 5 hears. It suddenly stopped working - everything else (lights, exhaust...) except heating itself. Warranty ran out. Called Samsung since it appeared that it is related to the microwave heating which should be covered for 10 years. We were not sure and since Samsung rep told us that if it is not related to the heating element, we would be charged about $100 and to repair another $200 or so, we gave up on the old one. This one is identical to the old one with 2 extra features - ceramic interior and a little more capacity. We looked at other brands but realized Samsung still gives a good value for the features and a great appearance. We purchased installation service too from Best Buy. Also bought a 5 year protection plan, just to be sure with the investment for 5 more years especially with the past experience. Overall we are satisfied with the performance and the easy of cleaning. However, compared to the 5 year old Samsung, this microwave touch buttons need a lot of pressure. I am annoyed with it and it appears that Samsung went for cheap material/parts in that. That reduced my rating.

We had an old basic model GE microwave that came with our house and it was honestly horrible. You could put a bag of popcorn in for the same amount of time and sometimes it would cook sometimes it wouldn’t and sometimes it would out right burn it. We delt with the crazy fluctuations in cook temperature and annoyingly hard to clean inside for a year before we caved. We started doing a lot of research on microwaves and were actually leaning towards a LG model but decided to go with this one because we have a lot of Samsung appliances and they haven’t let us down yet. This one did not disappoint either. The cooking sensor doesn’t work with everything but it cooks popcorn perfectly and heats up leftovers like a dream. It’s super easy to clean and has an option to stop the spin system if you want to heat something that’s to big to fit on the plate. The four levels of the fan is really nice when we’re cooking on the stove and the filter is easy to remove, clean and replace. Just be prepared this microwave is strong. We actually had to cut back on the cook time on a couple of things. We love our Samsung appliances and this one was well worth it. Glad we bought it.

Great looking microwave with all the features you'd want or need at a great price!

I purchased the Samsung - 5.8 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Slide-In Gas Convection Range in Stainless Steel so I was really wanting a microwave oven that would match. There were many other Samsung options that were priced $50-$400 more. So glad I stuck with the lower-priced option. It's gorgeous and has many, many more features than my older microwave, Would purchase again.

This microwave is awesome! It looks great and works great. So glad that we bought this. Install was more work than I thought it would be though. I had to install an outlet since the hood that was under the cabinet was connected with wires and I had to move my cabinet up 6" since this microwave hung down so low. So glad I took the time to do it though, it definitely was worth it!

It has taken a bit of getting used to as we replaced an older model. We do like the sensor feature so you don't have to guess how long to cook or warm food. And the dark enamel interior is nice instead of the white.

Great price, big space inside, easy to use when switching

We upgraded our range and microwave after the oven broke and we wanted a more updated look for our kitchen. We are very satisfied with the new look and functions of this over the range microwave. Love the auto reheat and melt features. The other day we were steaming vegies and the exhaust fan (over the range) came on automatically. We were amazed when the fan shut off once the vegies were done steaming, great feature! Pros: Works well to cook and reheat items. Looks great with the Samsung range. Popcorn features actually works well. Like the 4 speed exhaust fan and the lighting over the range. Cons: The light inside the microwave is very dim and the dark ceramic coating makes it even darker. We find the sensitivity of the control panel to be hard to find/press. They seem to be a little out of alignment with the verbage on the panel causing you to search for the area to press. Very easy to misaligne the turntable on the small rollers, causing the turntable to stop turning. The channel where the rollers under the glass turntable tract could be a little deeper. Just a pain to put back after cleaning...

I love this microwave. I love at a click of a button I can do all the different features that in no way, shape, or form could I do otherwise. I love how it looks. I love how the description of the quick menu is directly inside the microwave. My only problem is the vertical height of the microwave. This was some serious poor planning. If you put a dish of reasonable height you have to take the wire rack out. If you have 2 small dishes you need to put it back in. The microwave should either have been bigger or smaller not the size it is. Big enough that you can fit a reasonable dish on the bottom and still fit something on the top or smaller so it only fit 1 item but it could be a large item. Overall I give it a 4. Definitely better than my college microwave.

good microwave, acceptable noise level and heats the food like it should. don't expect every bell and whistle, this does not have them and you dot need them. it is easy to press power level, set time and press start.

Replaced a GE brand microwave. This model seems more powerful, more options, more intuitive to use. Larger capacity inside, really like the baked porcelain inside and larger inside dimensions - larger dishes can actually turn within this oven. Love the looks (white!). I would definitely buy this brand and this model again.

Easy to install. No user manual, need to download online.Controls are somewhat intuitive. You need the manual to understand the cook sensor technology. It has a large platter for bigger plates. Overall, a good buy.

It works like charm and the options are really cool. It fits well in the standard over the range cut-out and looks beautiful.

Looks great and the perfect size! Easy Do It Yourself installation. Would have given it 5 stars except that it does not have the 1 button express cooking our previous unit had. Overall, extremely satisfied with this purchase.

We looked at a lot of microwave ovens before we settled on this one, and we are thoroughly satisfied with our choice. It heats evenly, is easy to use, and looks great in our new kitchen. It was also competitively priced. I would definitely recommend this microwave oven to others.

My family and I have been using this oven for a while and I have no complaints, It looks fabulous in our kitchen and is very quiet. Even the setting for popcorn is usually pretty accurate. It is easy to clean and has a very modern appearance.

Our GE broke after just 1 year!!! So we got lucky and found this Samsung and it was on sale! So far its been great, no issues(got the warranty just in case!). Easy to install, maybe took my hubby 20-30 mins.
