I was hoping it solid would work. It does charge the phone quickly when I use the cord. So this may work for others fine, just not for me.

My only issue that I have is that it doesn’t support fast charge via apple products. But this battery pack is with me wherever I am & It’s a great conversation piece!

The reason for this purchase was so I wouldn't have to rely on charging cords when phone sits in the locker. However, if you have your phone in a protective case, the charger will not charge period or sporadically will drop the charge.

It works great for traveling as it will charge my wife's watch and phone. I have an older Samsung gear S2 watch and it doesn't work on it.

It was hard to find a pocket sized charger that was >8000 mAh. Samsung is not my first choice, but all the other (better) brands are made with a bulkier design.

Sometimes it does, sometimes not. I haven't figured out what causes it, but removing and putting the phone back on again usually solves it.

While that’s not the point of this battery, I would have loved the addition of it.
