Great laptop to have! Lasted me quite a few years and still going!

I purchased the 4GB Chromebook 2 and I am more than pleased. I did not even notice the lack of a delete key until I had used it for a few days. It handles well and responds fast. I like the fact that I can add extra storage via a micro SD card. Nice purchase for the money.

Such a good size, lightweight, affordable and adorable. The only downside of a chromebook is that there are certain programs you can't download but it is a good investment if you're look for cheap and efficient product

To begin, this is not my first Chromebook. I bought one of the original Chromebooks, also from Samsung, a few years ago. Chromebooks are not the "end-all, be-all" laptops in my opinion, but they are an EXCELLENT portable computer. This one, like many other Chromebooks, is lightweight, but it has a large enough screen to work comfortably from. Chromebooks are limited in their functionality because they basically cannot do anything more than running Google Chrome (you can't install software on them). However, there are a host of apps and extensions available on the Chrome Web Store that make Chrome, on any computer, way more than just a web browser. If you want a feel for what a Chromebook is like (assuming you have not tried one), install Google Chrome on your Windows/Mac/Linux computer and try find substitutes for the programs you usually use within the Chrome Web Store. You will be surprised by the number of text editors (including Google Docs itself), photo editors, and even games you can find. But the biggest advantage to me, besides the light weight of the computer, is the ability to use the Chrome Remote Desktop to remote into my home Windows machine when I really need to access something. I am a graphic designer, and I have had to modify a Photoshop file away from home, with only my Chromebook. By using the Remote Desktop feature in my Chromebook, I connected to my home computer and was looking directly at it as though I was in front of it, and had access to Adobe Photoshop. Regarding this model of Chromebook, what made this a worthwhile purchase for me is that this model has 4 GB of memory (RAM), which is becoming more common but still difficult to find. But it makes SUCH a difference in the performance of the computer. Whether this is your first Chromebook or not, consider this model for that reason alone.

This unit simply performs all basic tasks at a supreme level. This laptop is the easiest and best performing laptop I own. It take 2-4 seconds to startup once I've opened the device and continues to execute everyday tasks at a speedy and efficient level.The screen works well enough for both inside/outside operations. The keyboard is ergonomically sound for my above-average hand size. I've been programming and working in the IT industry for over twenty years and if you need a laptop to simply surf internet, check email, stream HD video, etc...Then please look no further. This hardware may be my most recommended product I've ever owned. I've encouraged over twenty people to pick this laptop up and execute a desired task and every last user executed their task with ease. I certainly encourage doing research on the Chrome OS before buying to solidify your needs from a laptop, but learning this OS is an absolute joy and incredibly easy. I just needed a laptop for household use. This is perfect! Its fast and small enough for quick storage.

So far so good, my only issue is the plug that goes in to charge it does not go in very securely and I have to play with it to charge it. I am going to look into this issue with Best Buy........

Built well. Has a very sturdy feel. Haven't had any problems so far. The screen is anti-glare which some may not like. I didn't see that in the description/specs. I bought it for my brother and he doesn't mind so no big deal. Excellent Chromebook for the money!

My old laptop decided to take a nose dive off of a table and so I needed a replacement. After realizing that maybe I could do without an Apple product, I decided to get the Samsung Chromebook on a fire sale. I have used it for a couple of weeks and it really works well for my browsing needs, Netflix and video streaming. I can have many tabs open at once and do what I need. Just need to get some more programs on it and it will be a great workhorse.

Bought 3. Two returned since the charger and the charger port had to be manipulated in order to charge. The charger will NOT stay connected and keeps popping out and will NOT lock into position. The only way these TWO chromebooks would charge is in a certain spot and they have to be held in place with something such as a book or using a free hand to keep the charger pushed in. This was definitely an inconvenience. I looked at the Chromebook 3 charger in the store and I noticed this charger adapter and port are a little different and the charger actually makes very good contact with the port prong by "grabbing" the prong. This is such a great looking chromebook. Good sound. Setup was easy and a snap. Great design. i bough these for several reasons. My mother is a stroke victim/survivor and this would have been perfect. The charger is a Major issue here. I hope I don't have to ask for my money back on the one being delivered. Extremely disappointed with these Samsung products. I apologize for the ONE star rating but this was pretty bad. One Samsung rep was super helpful and the other seemed very impatient and apathetic. May have just been me though.

Love my new laptop except the charger broke within the first 2 weeks

This was the 3rd Chromebook that I tried and returned. The lack of memory and small hard drive drag it's speed down considerably.
