Wanted a laptop that was not expensive. This samsung is absolutely great. I was not too sure about using google chrome browser but so far it works great. Not slow and love the way it looks

A+ all around. This machine is amazing. Boots in seconds, amazing battery life, and very fast. I'm glad I went with this model, it has double the RAM but the price is on par with lesser models. You could spend about $50 more for something with a better CPU, but if you're just looking for something to browse and do simple web-tasks this is perfect. Well done, Samsung.

We bought this for my mom. She had an old Windows laptop that she used for only web browsing with Chrome. It was so old that basic sites were very slow. I thought the Chromebook would avoid all of the updates, malware worries, and general overhead of Windows. My mom loves it. She has no trouble using it at all, even though she has always used Windows. It works perfectly, even easily printing. It is fast, reliable and the batter life is astonishing.

We purchased this to travel with overseas. Since space and weight are limited this is perfect. Screen size is adequate for what we are using it for- keeping important documents etc plus emails. It barely weighs anything but it is very sturdy, Just learning everything we can do with it and anticipate that it will be taken on all our travels from now on. It starts up fast and is very user friendly.

This is perfect for simple thhings for my kids school work and surfing the web it holds up great the only down side is the small memory

Our school district uses Google docs and Chromebooks in class. These little Samsung's work great, run anything you can throw at them (if its available in the google store) and has excellent battery life. The weight is good, and they seem durable. My 9yo has taken it on trips in a book bag and had no issues. I have been concerned wit hthe durablity of the charge plug, but its been fine so far.

I love my chrome book. It is super easy to use and holds a charge for a long time. I have had it for a year with no problems.

With a decent processor and 4GB of RAM, this Chromebook runs web applications well. The screen is sharp and well lit and battery life is more than acceptable. If you're looking for a system for Web Browsing, Web Apps (like Facebook) and lightweight computer tasks, but don't want a tablet, this is a good choice.

My daughter's school has been using google classroom and offers chrome book loaners. We have Apple computers at home and although they have the capability to access google classroom and documents, it's not consistently accessible. My daughter prefers to use exactly what the school uses because it's easier than trying to figure out the different key commands and she can get through her work quickly using the same system. She travels with a competitive figure skating team and was going on a trip and wanted to take a laptop with her so she could do her homework and not fall behind on her academics and she didn't feel comfortable taking one of our mac books with her. We found the exact chrome book used at school in our local Best Buy and she loves it! It's familiar and easy for her to use and has been able to finish all of her assignments during her trip. Since being home she hasn't needed to wait to use a chrome book at school and brings her own to school to use. It's been a great help and will be a great starter for college in the fall… we found the university she is going to uses google classroom and google docs. It's a great affordable laptop for students.

I purchased this chrome book on the recommendation of our son who has used his for 4 years. I needed internet access and wanted a inexpensive and drama free solution to "fill the gap" until I could afford to replace my 11yr old Mac, which still works, but can't "see or interact" properly on the web, she's just too old. This little machine is very simple, and works beautifully for what I was looking for.. gateway to the web.

the Chromebook is great for someone who just needs a computer to use on the web this was never meant to be a gaming PC nor a windows users PC just simple and to the point web use. the OS is easy and light on the dual core CPU its super snappy and gets the job done. cons a small 32GB 0Hard Disk Drive small amounts of ram if you want to have many tabs open I would suggest getting a higher end model of the Chromebook. other then that it is a great laptop for under $200.

My daughter really like this Samsung chromebook! Its easy to use and durable. Travels well too!

This was exactly what I was looking for when starting my next semester at school, without breaking the bank. Pros: Long Battery Life Google Connectivity Slim and light Quick enough Cons: If you ever need to use a specific program of some sort you must go somewhere else, more of an inconvenience.

Once I understood that this is NOT a laptop I love it. It does take a slight "learning" curve to shift mentally. The size and weight are a definite plus for me. It is quick; it is responsive. It has all of the aps that I need and the email and search work perfectly. Great little machine. I wish that I had two!

Overall, the devise is easy to use and set up. Lightweight and easy to bring with me everywhere. The battery time is decent and last all day for surfing the net and for google docs, checking email. Not sure for web streaming as I always try to keep it plugged in when doing so.

Kids use computers everyday for school and we liked this Samsung Chromebook option for them. It's small enough to carry around for her, capable enough to do school projects, and doesn't have the constant threats to getting a virus like Windows devices. Nice battery life and enough ports to do what they need.

My desktop is getting up in its age so I was in the market for something smaller, portable, light enough to carry around, plenty of battery life and of course it had to be affordable. I figured I was out of luck searching for something that touched all those bases until I came across this chromebook. I've never used a chromebook before and wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but its quickly become my go to unit for all things computer related. While it in itself is not a full laptop, the differences were not a deal breaker for me. It's fast, boots up lightning quick, I can multitask, read emails, watch videos, write papers, make presentations for college and so much more. Do yourself a favor and don't count this little guy out if you're in the market for something new and affordable.
