We wanted an inexpensive, small starter computer for my 6 year old to do his schoolwork on. I was concerned the computer would be too small and not work too well (as has been our experience with other chromebooks), but this has fit the bill perfectly so far. My son enjoys using his new computer, and we hooked it up to a large monitor, so the small screen size hasn't been an issue. It will be easy to take on trips as well due to its small size and light weight. Pleased with our purchase.

Picked this up on sale for my son to do homework on (5th grade.) Fantastic little chromebook, browses the internet with no problem. Can stream Netflix and other streaming services. Best thing, battery life is exceptional. Can last upwards of 8-10 hours with average to heavy use. Love this thing. Well worth the $$$. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I'm deducting 1 star because it's not a touchscreen.

Does everything expected—starts up instantly, responds very rapidly and battery lasts at least 10 hours. Quality of build is good. I bought a 128GB microUSB for $20 on Black Friday and now have 160 GB storage. Love the size. Bought it for travel and fits easily in my backpack. Still need to get used to quirkiness of Chrome OS but for $129 price prior to Black Friday, this was a remarkable deal.

My wife says the specs and speed of this computer can not be beat. It is great. Only down fall is speakers are quiet and no touch screen. But the price is right

Purchased this for my daughter to use at college. Small and light, perfect for carrying to class. It's a basic Chromebook without any of the extras found on higher end such as touch screen or 3-in-1 folding. It will be used in conjunction with her regular computer with larger screen etc, and not as her primary computer. Picked it up on sale in the low $100's, which is about where it should be priced in my opinion rather than the mid-$200's where it is normally priced.

I actually enjoy my new Samsung Chromebook. It is very lightweight. This is very efficient and easy to use. The value of it was very reasonable.

This is for the 4GB RAM, 32GB Storage model. The computer is fast and has a great keyboard. The build quality is quite good for an inexpensive machine and it is completely silent, and has all-day battery life. Great machine for everyday tasks, and it can run my favorite android and linux apps, in addition to chrome. No complaints and lots of utility. I recommend it.

This is an excellent chrome book for a middle Or high schooler and also for general purpose surfing. Light, quick and no bloatwate. Excellent value

You can not beat product for the price. Great value. It is made well with standard chrome book features and perfect portable size with fast speed.

Chromebooks are much different that Windows laptops, but they work very well for accessing the internet and streaming. This device has adequate memory and is easily portable. Startup and shutdown is very fast and the operating system and apps update seamlessly in the background. Retail price is not bad, but if can get on sale for less than $200 it is a great deal.

I love my new Chromebook. I hesitated to purchase one because the price was so reasonable I wasn't really expecting too much. I was mistaken!! I spend a lot of time just surfing the internet and for that purpose it's great!! It's not necessary to purchase an expensive laptop if that's all your going to really use it for. I also take it with me when I travel. It's small and lightweight and so convenient to have with me. I actually take it with me most places where I know there will be at least wifi connections.

My children use chrome books in school and are so simple to use. The price point was great and works smoothly.

I picked this up during the BF deal for $129, which I think is a great price for the chromebook. Setup was a breeze and it is nice and responsive. It has 2 USB ports and a regular HDMI, which at this price point is a nice feature. With light use, it is working fast and stays cool. Bought it for my kids and they are super happy!

I was looking for a chromebook to keep my notes and recipes for e liquid. This was on-sale on black friday and my GF purchased this for me! Haven't had any issues with anything! Boots and loads up quick for what it is. Very happy with it and i can do everything i need to do right from this! Great battery life!! Also purchased a 128gb card for storage for it just for a peace of mind. All in all great chromebook for the price!!

Aside from different RAM (2 GB vs 4) and local storage (16GB SSD vs 32), all 500/501 series have the same features and screen. Bought this for the standard Chrombook uses: email, web browsing, streaming, cloud documents, etc. I've had multiple tabs open while streaming and a few apps in the background and this shows zero hiccups. Resolution is lower than some other brands, but the screen size is limited to 11.6" so it looks crisp and clear. Two small speakers on the bottom front sound like, well, two small speakers on the bottom front... Definitely enough sound to fill a small-to-medium sized room, but don't expect to get a ton of bass or depth - for everyday listening or something to listen to while working though, it's fine. Fit and finish are good all-around; I wouldn't want to intentionally drop it or toss it around, but it also doesn't feel the least bit flimsy. Lid opens and closes with a reassuring smoothness and the hinges show zero wobble when doing so. It's nice having a USB port on both sides. Would have liked to see a model with a backlit keyboard and 180* lid movement, but those are minor issues. Hope the next model uses USB-C for charging.

This tiny little computer works excellent with such a good price.
