As soon as I tried setting up chromebook the system keep crashing and asking to restore after coming back on. Called Samsung and they cant explain. Called geek squad they no nothing. This is a frustrating tablet and I don't know who to hold accountable Google or samsung. Nonetheless, its trash and going back today!!

Love this chromebook, I've had it for a couple of years - I like that it's small, lightweight and easy to travel with - fits in my overnight bag nicely.

I love how fast this machine is. It’s a great size and resembles a MacBook both in appearance and feel. Just some words of caution though - it does NOT utilize windows or windows applications. My WiFi printer works, but the scanner function needed an app to connect to the printer. It only has ONE USB port - I’m using a wireless mouse and the receiver occupies my only USB port. It’s an amazing machine for the price... just needed to change the “way” I work on it.

I give it 5 stars because it truly entitles to that much, it's so practical! All google office tools such as gmail, google sheets, google drive, everything all in one built-in with the computer for work, school, or just productivity. It's fast. I love that it's so light to carry which makes it portable to anywhere you want to take it, hassle free and it doesn't take up so much space if you carry it in an all essentials duffel bag or a spacious travel bag of your choice. I love it for Netflix too, movie watching on this is so cozy. Web surfing, Facebook, keeping a few tabs open, is super multi tasking to the things you are doing all at once. It has very decent camera quality, as you know it is a Samsung so it has somewhat at its best the Samsung phone camera quality, zoom meetings with this camera is a treat to me. Music on this is pretty legit too, I mostly listen to music on here through my Airpods Pro, but without a headset/headphones is a candid quality of music I can attest to this because I watch Netflix without my ear pieces and I can enjoy it as much as I do with them on,,also usually you have to listen to Youtube with its tab open otherwise music goes away, with chrome on the chromebook you can close all tabs with music still playing and it'll play in the background you can work on stuff while music continuously plays which I find awesome "spotify premium who?:D". As for photos google photos you can download on your phone it's a powerful tool if your icloud is cluttered, get it on your chromebook and if you want it to be your main source of backup of your photos you can which I find savvy because desktop google photos has lengthy options of what you can do with them in exportation and you can edit them studio-style with apps that already come with the computer. I hope all of this thorough narrow down helped :-D :-)

I haven't used my PC since buying this. It's nice having it synch with my tablet and phone so I can pick up where I left off on any device. It's sturdy, lightweight with exceptional battery life.

I'm an IT professional and had many Windows computers. I decided to give a Chromebook a try. It's so far superior to Windows for my use and probably most home users. This laptop is speedy. Battery life is remarkably good. The keyboard is nice, although I really wish it had a caps lock instead of the search button. I also miss the right click on the touchpad. The screen is the only weak point. It's really low quality, not sharp, colors are washed out. Not adeal killer. But, for $200 this laptop serves exactly the need I need it wanted and would highly recommend.

I purchased to replace my old laptop, This was recommended by one of the IT guys at my office and it is perfect for me. I didn't need a lap top again as I am retiring soon and I only need it for paying bills, searching the web and sometimes watching a video on Netflix. The screen is just the right size and it is lightweight and easy to take with me when I travel. The battery life is great, the only complaint I have it the power code is a bit short for my me, other than that I love it.

I purchased this for myself a couple of years ago. Then my kid promptly broke their laptop and needed to use this for school. I never got it back, and she never asked for a new/different computer. It has served her well through senior year of high school and into her second year of college. It's quite suitable for student needs/web surfing/word processing, and if my kid hasn't killed it yet, that speaks very well to its durability.

This is the first chromebook that I have purchased. It is so fast and easy to use that I rarely use my laptop PC anymore. Excellent quality. The built-in software includes a word processor and a "snip it" type application for cutting and pasting. Connecting to my wireless printer was simple. I do wish it had more than one standard USB port. For the price, it can't be beat.

I thought it was touchscreen... I wish it was. It'd be ideal if it was. My favorite device from Samsung was the original Samsung Galaxy Notebook priced at about $1200 years ago. I got it for about $50/month through Verizon. The tablet part one day just went black (after warranty). I haven't found anything as ideal - as far as specs for price - since then. Being cheap doesn't help. I would've gotten the next closest thing if I wanted to spend an additional $400. Either way, I got a faster device & an extra screen - a bigger screen than my Fusion5 (off-brand Windows OS I got off Amazon for about $250). I can make my new tech setup work with some casting and HDMI.

Picked this up for the distance learning requirements for my family. Had to tether it to an android phone in order for it to complete setup. Would not finish the setup while attempting to connect to my google WiFi. Updates were difficult due to having to tether to my phone and the devices attempting to save data bandwidth. After about thirty minutes or so of wrestling with it, I finally got it updated.
Once I finally did setup was a breeze. The laptop feels sturdy. The display is really quite middle of the road. Not good. Not bad. Just enough for kids school. They keyboard feels flimsy and cheap but gets the job done. The audio is decent and will work. The front facing camera might be 720p. It’s pretty awful.
Battery life is impressive. About ten or so hours after a 90 minute charge.
It’s a great learner device. It’s not a replacement for my surface book or any Mac device. To get the same experience out of my surface book I just refreshed the pc and installed the new chromium Edge browser. My five year old surfacebook still gets 9 hours of battery life.
I do recommend this chromebook. You just really have to understand that this is a) great for learners or super casual browsing b) has its own setup quirks c) runs an operating system that is designed to learn all about you to sell you things and to sell you.
If you’re using it with your child’s educational account, your school controls what can be accessed by the device. So check your schools privacy policies.

I purchased this laptop from my daughter and when it came in I liked apps download easily. It is sleek and the monitor is large. I decided to get another one for my other daughter since I am homeschooling this year. So far, it has meet any expectations for the price. I bought it for it having chrome because that is what most schools are using. (It does not play cd/ dvd, in case you need that option)

I love my chromebook, it's extremely user friendly and super lightweight. It's my personal device and I couldn't be happier with the functions, features and the price was just right. The best part is I've got access to help anytime anything is wrong with the device. So far, I've been helped by a few really nice folks while I'm trying to figure out the laptop and use it to it's full potential.
