This is the second one I have purchased for my now 13yr old son. He had the first one for 2 years and uses it for school. It is light, looks sleek and is a great unit. He dropped it and it broke so that is why it has been replaced. I recommend it if you are doing web and spreadsheet/word type work.

The laptop is pretty good. Don't expect to game on it. Good battery life. My only complain is that the buttons on the keyboard not like a traditional keyboard since it's almost like all crunched together very closely.

Upon delivery (on time), I was pleasantly surprised with the packing and handling. The machine was Ready to go after a quick charge and easy setup. The switch for some may be difficult from a windows laptop but the learning curve is about a day or two give or take. The tour was easy to understand and follow. Picture quality is great even from an angle, keys are just the right amount of click. The frame feels, looks, and reacts solid as can be. Everything matched the description perfect. For the older user, the keys have great spacing and the screen is clear and as big as it needs to be. All in all, Great price, delivery time, and product!

Helps a lot for my kids homework and I love the color and how slim it is, i can store paperwork along with the chrome book in my laptop case. The volume is low on it but that’s ok because I just connect it to my wireless speaker.

This chromebook has a large screen and is easy to use. Perfect for my 3rd grade virtual schooler and a great upgrade, at a great price, from the 11inch screen that the school district sent home. Nice and thin and pretty light.

We purchased this chromebook for our twin kinder kids starting their school experience virtually. We wanted this one as it had a larger screen and at a relatively cheap price point. It also looks really slick and is fairly lightweight. Speed of surfing is great and has a webcam for Zoom classes. Overall a great laptop, Google make chromebooks very easy to use for first time users and all of the settings from our other chromebook sync across automatically to this one because we used the same Google account across both for the kids. The only thing I don’t like about this laptop is when you open the lid, it has a lip at the back near the hinge which seems to pop up the laptop a bit, on a hard surface it sounds like you’ve cracked it! But thankfully it’s just the hinge opening against the surface.

This Chromebook is excellent! I bought it to give to a elderly person in a retirement home so they could connect with their family and friends. What I love most is everything is familiar. The keyboard is large and the screen is bid and bright and the ports are both USB A and USB C. It has a long battery life and the biggest plus is Google remote! This is an excellent way to get remote access to help and assist your loved ones with using the chrome book during this pandemic. You don’t have to have a Chromebook of your own to do this. You only need the chrome browser on your personal PC or Mac. There are plenty of YouTube videos you get you up to speed on how to do this. Bottom line. This is a no brainer! If you have someone who needs connection and assistance with using a computer, this is the one to get.

Good choice for my 10 year old daughter to have the speed she needs to log in to school and other online meetings. She does basic work and everything saves to Google. The screen is a good size and helps her avoid straining to see information. Great price too.

My 5 year old Acer was getting very glitchy. Taking forever to connect to wifi, once it was connected it would get stuck and take forever to open new files. Problems with wireless use. Then I discovered Chromebooks. Google Chrome has been my go to browser thing for a long time and this model had a mid range price and everything I need. Why Samsung? I got a great TV from them so I trust the brand. I've only had my new chromebook 4 days but I absolutely love it. Big screen, very light weight, easy to set up - all my stuff from my Acer automatically transferred. People have said the display is washed out but I think it looks perfect. No complaints so far. Only complaint is the keyboard is very flat and doesn't like fingernails but I think I'll adjust. Overall I highly recommend.

First off I'm not very computer literate, but i thought it was time to get one. I got the Chrome book because I've dealt with Chrome and not good with Windows. Everything worked great out of the box... popped in my Chrome password and i was up and running. For me that was great. I really only use it for mail and internet (for now) but i can see other uses in the future. The price was very attractive, as was the Samsung name; my phones have all been Samsung so i feel confident with the name. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Got this as we needed more devices for students to finish the school year online. Wanted something easy to use without all the BS software on it. This works great, super fast login, apps are quick and smooth without all the “bulk” of windows 10. Kids are able to use the Microsoft Office apps for school and print wirelessly to our HP printer as well. I was leery of getting the chrome book but am very pleased. It takes a little to get used to if you have never had one before. Will probably get another when I need a new laptop.
