Have kids attending a digital school? These are fantastic for them. Long battery life. Chrome OS is fast, but it takes a few minutes to get acquainted with it if you come from Windows. Only downside is 1 USB A port. Make sure you use Bluetooth accessories so you don’t have to take up the port, or make sure you have a hub. Screen is fine when looking straight on, get worse quickly with an angle. Camera is sufficient for videoconferencing. Overall a great value.

I've used Samsung for ages because they make a good product. I bought this one and loved it, but had to return it for the same reason I bought it: It's a Chromebook. I have three different publishers and they all require either WordPerfect or Word documents, and the hassle of having to buy everything from the Google store just didn't make the idea of a Chromebook financially reasonable for me. If you just want to work online, Chromebooks are great (I used one for three weeks on vacation last year), but the software issue can be a problem. This particular Chromebook, though, is beautiful. So if you're a fan, you'll be happy with this one.

Fast reliable and long battery life. Good for everyday school work. Sound quality too is okay quality. Lite built and easy to carry. Value for money. Only problem is screen display settings can’t be altered, only brightness can be adjusted

I haven't had a laptop since college, 10 years ago, and was completely lost on where to start. With so many things becoming virtual this year, I decided I wanted something to use for zoom/video calls other than my cell phone. After doing some research, I landed on Chromebooks. This computer is fast -- when I open it up, the screen is pulled up instantly and ready to use. It charges quickly. The speakers are great. Using the internet is a breeze, and so fast. The battery lasts for 8+ hours. It is sleek looking, and very similar to a Macbook. The camera works well. I mainly wanted this for video calling, watching Netflix, sending emails, and the internet, and it is perfect for my needs. My nephew used my computer all week to do his virtual schoolwork, because the Chromebook he owned was lagging and very slow. Mine worked beautifully. The large screen is great for watching Netflix or HBO, and the picture is sharp and clear. I read a lot of reviews calling the screen "terrible" and "a deal breaker", and I almost didn't buy this for that reason. I'm so glad I took the chance. For someone like me, who uses this for entertainment, the screen is totally fine. It could be slightly brighter, but that is my only complaint. If you're a basic user, don't let the negative screen comments scare you away. I guess if you want to edit photos on this or something, than maybe it would be a problem, but for a run of the mill Netflix viewer it is totally fine. For the price, you have to expect that not every aspect will be stunning. For me, the $300 price tag makes any downfall of the screen quality totally worth it. If you're looking for a simple, fast, reliable, Chromebook -- this is it. I read soooo many reviews before deciding on this one so let me save you the trouble... if you're considering this, buy it!! You won't be disappointed.

I like this chrome book. It has all of the features that I need. I just need it for email, YouTube, and looking up things on the internet. I do wish that the volume was louder and the speakers were on the top, but that is the only thing I have found slightly objectionable. It is fast and responds well.

This is what every computer wants to be but can't. This is what you get to apply for jobs, research recipes, start your blog, do remote homework, connect to zoom meetings, and watch Netflix hiding on a closet without regretting having forgotten your glasses. This computer gives you what you need: the processing power of a cellphone but with a giant screen (15.6") so you don't go blind because you are over 30 years old. You could have gotten a tablet, even I have one (also Samsung), but working on a 11" screen is NO FUN AT ALL and you know it. I have read some reviews about the Chromebook being slow and let me adjust your expectations. If you have 34 chrome tabs open, one streaming video and 5 documents open for editing, this WILL crash. It already happened to me. Just be smart. This has integrated Bluetooth, like a cell phone. I connect my mouse and my wireless headset to it, no issues. Battery life is pretty good, survives a work day of 8 hours just fine. Design is slick. All of this to say: screen over 15" and for this price, in this economy???. Truly cannot beat that.

I wanted a Chromebook laptop and couldn't decide on brand I wanted. I looked at all they displayed, I had a budget in mind so i checked out the ones within my budget and this one had the look I wanted, screen size and feel. Super clean . I've had it for 1 day and I love it. Synced my Google device easy and believe it was a great choice and buy! Def. Recommend for those with Google accounts.

Cheapest chrome book with decent sized screen, bought as an "open box" so $30 or so cheaper even. The touch pad is a bit touchy but solved with an external wireless mouse. Could use another USB port because the external wireless mouse uses the one and only.

I purchased this for my in-laws to use for Zoom. Figured it would be better then a tablet, so they can actually have a keyboard to type on. I didn't think they would miss all the bells and whistles an actual laptop/computer would have (programs/drives). Was worried that it might be too difficult for them to get around, but that was put to rest when they commented it was just like using their smartphone. Only drawback was no touch screen but they understand how to use the touchpad. I did add a micro SD card for more storage so no worries that it only has 32gb available at purchase. As long as you have internet, everything is cloud based in Google so doubt the storage will get used up. Because it's similar to their smartphone instead of programs you download apps, so you still have Word/Excel/PowerPoint if necessary.

It’s good in case of an emergency but you’re really limited on things you can do. It’s only a 4G, it’s best to use it to surf the web, videos or writing. Nothing heavy like games. Definitely school worthy.

Fast bootup and everything you need in a Chromebook. The larger screen is very welcome, but it still remains light weight. The touch pad is large enough and has the right amount of sensitivity to not drive you crazy when using it over a mouse. There are plenty of ports for adding peripherals.
