The speakers are great as a wireless rear surround sound speakers. However as most of the complaints pointed out they are not true wireless because you have to have them plugged into a box in the rear but it is nice not to have speakers running through the middle of my living room I can deal with the cords behind my couch. The sound Quality is excellent one watching something and true surroundsound however if what you were watching is in stereo or monotone you will not get much sound out of the rear speakers which is OK with me. My only complaint is that I wish these were compatible with the new were curb sound bars and not double sound bars. I would recommend these if you are looking to add surroundsound speakers to a Samsung sound bar.

The Samsung rear speakers need 2 wires (included) and a power adapter to function, but they are "wireless" meaning you don't have to connect to front speakers or subwoofer. I purchased a Samsung TV and soundbar - the addition of the rear speakers made a huge difference in the sound quality for movies. Setting them up is as simple as plugging them in. You will need to know the difference between Right and Left, but if you paid attention in pre-school you're probably well-equipped to know the difference which makes these speakers super-simple to set up.
Mounting on a wall is easy with a screw (not included), but if you want to hide the necessary wires you'll need to do some additional work.

Hello, bought these Samsung loud speakers along with the Samsung 3.1 sound bar. This review is for the loud speakers only, they are awesomeness in such a small size. I got them as part of a bundle purchase and very glad the salesperson mentioned the $30.00 discount. They added great sound to my system and I really like the Bluetooth with pandora capability, my friends and family noticed the sound of the Speakers right away. I bought speaker stands for them because I didn't want holes in the wall. For the money a great buy. Well worth the money and my whole system is Samsung. I'm happy, I think you will be too.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I bought the sound bar and needed a pair of small wall mount speakers. I used the in wall wiring to hook them up and then connected to the wireless hub to the wall plate. Worked perfectly without having any wires hanging from the wall

We purchased the Samsung sound bar system with the built in surround processor. It will wirelessly stream the surround channel to this remote receiver/amplifier box which must be plugged into a wall outlet and able to communicate with the Samsung Sound Bar. The 2 small surrond speakers must be wired to the receiver/amplifier box, but that is all hidden by my sofa. The result is a nice clear surround sound experience that takes up little space and eliminates some of the wiring. While this is very enjoyable in our vacation home, it is not putting out the same high quality sound as a high end, home theater receiver and speaker set would produce. I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 just so the Samsung folks keep working hard ro improve their sound systems but as of this day, I think the Samsung sound bar with wireless subwoofer and matching wireless surround speakers is the best selection on the market.

Got these to set up with our soundbar and tv. Set up was somewhat easy, though we did go through a set that didn't work and returned them to to the store.
I wish we could turn the rear volume up a little more, but otherwise a great combination with the soundbar.

These are perfect for surround sound. Sure most people say they aren't loud enough but how loud do you want them people!? They are loud enough, I'd say. You can go into the setting of the sound bar to turn them up after setting them up which was easy!

I have a large family room, and a couple of steps up from that is my kitchen. I purchased a Samsung UltraHD TV a while back, and recently purchased the Samsung 3.1 Soundbar system, and it is great; it fills the room with sound without having to raise the volume beyond the half-way point. The problem was that in order to hear the TV from the raised kitchen, the sound was too loud in the family room. Solution? This wireless rear speaker system.
Well, mostly wireless.....the sound module is wireless and pairs easily with the soundbar, but the speakers? Not wireless. The speakers are wired to the module that pairs to the soundbar, which was not what the BestBuy salesman told me. However, small inconvenience to be able to have clear sound in the kitchen without driving everybody out of the family room, or providing cotton balls for them to put in their ears.
Setup was really simple, and the sound is so seamless that you don't even realize that the speakers are hanging up there on the wall (we kept getting up on the step ladder to see if they were really on). The sound quality is really good, much better than expected.
The combination of the three Samsung products is perfect for our home. (We did buy a Sony Blu-Ray though; nobody's perfect.)

Works really well with the Samsung Soundbar, the whole setup with the soundbar and these speakers costs about $300. Easy setup if you have a Samsung TV, but would recommend that you shop around for other manufacturer soundbars as well.

Purchased this unit a couple of weeks after getting the 3.1 Samsung sound bar. I purposely sought out an "open box" unit as I knew from BBY reviews that there was probably one out there, returned by a customer who didn't really understand the nuances of 5.1 in that the rear speakers aren't always processing a signal, especially in movie mode. Put the sound bar in Music or Clear Speech (use for audio books) mode and the sound projects loudly from all speakers. Anyway, between the open box discount and BBY reward points I paid almost half price for this great unit. The open box unit still had the protective plastic covering the speakers! I use this in my bedroom and it's like going to a drive-in-movie in my 1963 Rambler American which had some of the first reclining front seats.

Rear speakers were easy to install with the availability of Bluetooth. Sound quality is fair. Would be nice if the volume of rear speakers could be increased. Little pricey for rear speakers of this quality

These little speakers were a good addition to my HW-K450/ZA soundbar and were very easy to set up. They aren't the loudest but they are ok for a bedroom and they give a somewhat surround sound feeling.

Nice addition to our soundbar system. The sound from these speakers won't blow you away, but they aren't meant to. I find that their subtle sound enhances my enjoyment of a program or movie on our TV.

The set up for these speakers is easy for the most part but do your self a favor and just reset the sound bar to get them connected. The sound is like background noise, like surround of long ago. If that sounds good to you then these speakers are for you. If not... well, they may not be useful then. They are good for sporting events for background cheering and such. On some action movies you can get some explosion ect. The volume is not adjustable at all which for me is beguiling. And for what these speakers are (not much) they are expensive.
