not very loud

Great soundbar

Great sound bar for beginners

Give an awesome sound for the open room. Still trying to make small adjustment because there is an echo on some settings.

Great Soundbar for the Price

We have a Samsung soundbar on another TV and this one is just as good. We have always been able to rely on Samsung.

Great for price and smaller room

Samsung HW-R450/ZA Sound Bar

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought a Samsung HW-R450/ZA Sound Bar- it sounded great in the showroom- when we got it home it didn't blast like the demo in the store- took it back and chatted with a clerk and he suggested we explore various mode settings: game, movies, surround sound etc. Still not what we'd expected even maxed out it varies greatly. I want something that can produce a constant volume- so that I needn't turn it up to maximum to get volume that's so-so. Suggestions?

The HW-R450 features a powerful wireless subwoofer, as well as Game Mode, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS Digital Surround for deep bass, rich sound, and clear tones. You can try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your HW-R450 remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or SMART.
You can also press the Sound Control button on the remote (looks like a gear) to adjust TREBLE and BASS.
The Woofer button also enables you to adjust the subwoofer to -12 or between -6 to +6.

Amazing !

Needed to return

We found out it was a result of our cable provider not the sound bar.

Reviewed and that appeared to be a consistent issue with them.

Poor Subwoofer

. I am very sorry that you are not completely happy with the bass performance.
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from soundbar and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

Same make as TV

Not as intuitive as I expected nor as easy to set up. And doesn’t seem to stay working across days or channels but that could be me. When working is good.

Great Sound
